I don't listen to a lot of new music these days, but I liked the Courtney Barnett/Kurt Vile album.

I’m a fan of both (huge Kurt Vile fan), and loved the singles when they were released, but the album had no staying power for me. it just kind of exists.

first tier stuff for me:KELELASamphaKendrickSt. Vincentalso good:LCDKing KruleKing Gizzard "Sketches of Brunswick East" (didn't really care for the other FOUR albums they did this year)...and I really liked the Stranger Things 2 score. I think it works way better as an album than the first two volumes do.
