College basketball is broken beyond repair. The NBA is great right now.

this is a golden age for nba. golden state might not even win it all this year there are so many super teams now.

thunder
spurs
cavs
celtics*

all contenders barring major injuries* with the exception of big injuries.

76ers have like 4 budding superstars and will only get better until they are broken up. bucks to a lesser degree as well.

Rockets and Twolves are going to be a problem. Wizards will be fun to watch.

Well I wouldn't go that far. It does kinda suck if you are a fan of one of the 20+ teams that are completely irrelevant.

ehh...the playoffs are still incredibly interesting and entertaining. the sport has, imo, overtaken all other pro sports in terms of offseason interest and excitement in trades/free agency.

The offseason is more interesting simply because team dynamics change so much from 1 player acquisitions coupled with the whole shift to super-teams.

NFL, MLB, NHL, etc, no one else is forming super-teams or have the opportunity for 1 player to completely change the outlook of a team save for MAYBE a premier QB switching teams(Peyton Manning to Denver, Brees to Saints, but even those were both players coming off of injuries).

Youngest player to ever have a points/assists double double in his first game. Not too shabby.

Nah I think the NFL is still tops there. The NFL draft could basically be its own sport and would probably get the third best ratings of all the major leagues.

the draft, yeah, but NBA free agency >>>>>>>>> NFL free agency

NBA twitter rules, too

yeah the NFL draft still owns all the drafts. people even watch the damn combine. i was thinking of free agency and trades when i said "offseason" but obviously the draft occurs in the offseason too. maybe it's because it's easier for 1 player to make a bigger impact on an NBA team, but it seems like there's just more significant trades and signings.

nba twitter...like writers and dudes making gifs and shit is good and fun and entertaining imo. fans, on the other hand, are probably shit heads like they are in every sport - dick riding their favorite players and just being idiots in general.

I wonder if the OKC will stay healthy and try to win a bunch of games this year? They could easily get into the 70s.

Westbrook gonna Westbrook. He could average 15 assists with guys on his team who can actually knock down shots. That was a good debut for that big three.
