Is torque force on a pin(bolt, screw.ect)... Is torsion applied around an axis "sheer" force?ie the failure mode for cylindrical part being twisted apart.Would that be remedied by a material suited more for elongation or should I aim for the next failure to be a "hard" or brittle break?
