aside from nicotine gum and vapes?

basically thinking of stuff that's very low cost or no cost

I talk to some chick who's having the toughest time with withdrawal, almost to the same degree as alcohol withdrawal, but IDK what to suggest

I'm looking on Google... one thing I found was eating carrots LOL

idk, I guess any ideas might help. stuff like distractions I doubt are going to help very much, but maybe specific types of distractions that we haven't thought about could be good

anything related to Texas rattlesnakes or bottom lines, perhaps?

Get extremely ill with a respiratory infection like bronchitis or pneumonia.
Not be an idiot.

Get those nicotine patches. If she's serious about quitting, they will work for her.
And if she smokes a pack a day, those nicotine patches will be cheaper than buying smokes for 6 weeks.... and at the end of 6 weeks, she won't be smoking anymore.

If she really wanted to quit, she'd be on the internet looking for solutions herself.

my dad would chew on toothpicks. he then started cleaning his teeth more often with them and hasn't had a cavity in years - an added bonus from breaking the cig addiction.

Nicotine patches gave me crazy dreams.
Cold turkey was the only way to go.
It took me a year or two though to not crave a cigarette when I drink or in social situations. Occasionally, I would allow myself one, but then my mouth would taste like a dirty ash tray and I'd think to myself "how did I ever do this?"
