Her first appointment she was like 4.7 lbs. Now she is 21 lbs. We are thinking she will get to be around 50 lbs. She is a boxer/pit mix so she shouldn't get too big.

Her little claws and teeth are so sharp. She's getting much better at not biting, but the whole jumping up on us is killing our legs! We look like we run through briers daily. Ready for her to get out of this puppy stage.

We're going to DC this weekend and she will be staying with my parents. I'm so nervous about leaving her, but she loves it over there and she has her (dog) uncle to torture.

So we tested her DNA...she has no boxer in her! She is 75% american staffordshire terrier, 12.5% chow, and the rest is just a mixture of things that didn't really equal enough to name one breed. I guess technically that could contain the boxer...but her markings come from the amstaff.

She gets a walk on the beach every Saturday and Sunday morning, and right now, even if she was mean and vicious, I don't think it would stop people from running over to pet her. At first it was fun and cute, but now it's gotten kinda annoying. I'm still patient with it and let people pet her, because the socialization does help her, but I just wanna walk. We will be going good walking, then someone wants to pet her, and then when the pet session is over, she just goes bat shit crazy and turns impossible to walk until she forgets about it.

She went and got a bath today, and they called me and said she was freaking out from the blow dryer and was going to hurt herself in the kennel, so I had to come get her right away. It was weird, cause she's gotten a bath there before and she did just fine. She's just a drama queen when she goes to get crated up, even though she loves the crate and will often go take naps in it. I'm really curious to know what was different this time. I'll take her back one more time and try to get an appointment with the same person the first time, and see if she's better. I'm hoping that the person that was handling her today wasn't being mean.

^Lily once opened the back window when I was going 60+ on hwy 70. Scared the shit out of me, thought she was going to jump out. We keep the child lock on the windows now.

She loves to give hugs...she is getting so big now. 55 pounds! She is almost 8 months old. She is going to be bigger than we thought, since we originally thought she would be around 50 lbs. She is probably about the height that she will get, but she has some more bulking up to do. My guess is she will end up closer to 70lbs now.

She is also starting to destroy her toys. I hate it, her favorite toys are getting thrown in the trash. She also loves to back talk. It's so cute, but we are trying to break her from doing it.
