I dont see the problem with this? I throw old tshirts, socks, etc. into a box when they get holes in them for disposable rags. I guess I dont really throw underwear in there but I also wear boxers and those things last forever haha.

I only use hand-made bespoke small batch fair trade heirloom rags produced on a third generation family owned Vietnamese hemp co-op.







It's a shop rag. I'd use my old drawers even if someone was gonna see them, if old drawers was what I had.

i have definitely used old t shirts as rags. i think that's just a slight notch above using old underwear as rags, but honestly it's not much difference.

old underwear are rags, so i use them as rags in my shop. what does it matter what you use to clean-up oil/grease? do you have permanent tire-mark stains on your underwear? if not, who cares who sees them?
