Not the worst show I've seen. Anybody else watching it?

not yet but I plan on it. After Justified I'll watch anything Olyphant's in

I really enjoy it after 2 episodes. Will continue.

The shows are only 30 minutes so you could easily blow through these in a day or two. Ended up getting pretty good at the end. I found myself liking the subplots of the children better than the main plot.

This obviously didn't get a lot of traction last year.Season 2 is out, and if you liked season 1, season 2 seems just as good.

We are almost done with season 1. We liked it. It wasn't Stranger Things or anything super compelling and just kind of fell off the radar with other great content to also watch and real life getting in the way. We are catching up now to the last few episodes but with our recent move and lack of internet at our new place (and Spectrum's ineptitude with connecting the internet) I don't know when or if we will get to watch it again.

Really loved S1, especially fun for me to see Olyphant play almost a completely different character than the one he had just come off of acting for 6 years (Raylan Givens). Looking forward to binging S2.

All of the actors here seem like they are having a good time doing the show.

After finishing season 2, I think I like it even more. I actually laughed out loud a few times.

^Do you watch Joel's new Netflix show? It had some special guests last week.
3/30/2018 8:36:43 AM
No, should I?I mean the more I think about it, the more I like each character. The show is pure escapism and nobody talks or acts like the characters in real life, but it is a nice escape.

Watched the first two episodes. That was enough

It gets better, believe me. It took a little bit for it to grow on me and I wasn't like laughing out loud with it, but I like it in its own ridiculous way.

Are you guys now talking about Santa Clarita Diet or the Joel McHale show? Because I couldn't watch the Joel McHale show past the first one. He's making fun of a bunch of shows that I have no interest in watching. His pop culture references are based around those shows. Kinda reminded me of a watered down Tosh 2.0, or some bizarre version of Talk Soup.

I'm almost done with season 2. I really like this show. The fact that an episode is 30 mins helps. Seems like every other show I watch is an hour and takes a little more "planning" to be able to watch them. I'm really enjoying Timothy Olyphant's Character. Drew Barrymore is fairly "meh" but I watch the show for TO

I think the guy in the friend zone is hilarious.

^^^RJR, I was talking about Santa Clarita with it growing on me. WTF are you talking about The Joel McHale Show as a weird version of Talk Soup? Joel was doing The Soup for over a decade until it got canned by E! in late 2015. Netflix basically took the exact show and copied it and took out the bleeps. The Soup and Talk Soup before it originated the clip show premise and Joel did over 600 episodes. I never cared for Tosh, but his show was the Comedy Central rip off of The Soup with Daniel Tosh. If you never saw it, that is fine, but the reason its a big deal is that Netflix scooped up a show everybody liked and was cancelled for no good reason.

I guess that explained it. And I never watched Talk Soup past just a few seconds flipping around channels. Was just not a big hit for me. I didn't realize Joel McHale was the original host for it though. I mean yea I probably saw him doing it while flipping around, but it didn't click with me.
