Favorite albums so far:Drab Majesty - The DemonstrationSampha - ProcessThe Menzingers - After the PartyThe XX - I See YouSinai Vessel - BrokenleggedPriests - Nothing Feels NaturalJapandroids and Cloud Nothings albums were both kind of snoozers to me, despite the fact that I typically enjoy both bands. Both albums have some really enjoyable songs though.Overall there have been lots of great individual songs and singles out for upcoming albums. Some of the main ones I'm looking forward to in the near future are:SlowdiveJesus and Mary ChainFather John MistyMewMinus the BearYou'll Never Get to HeavenDay WaveNo Joy[Edited on February 16, 2017 at 12:08 PM. XMU loves day wave. i don't find them particularly interesting.
2/16/2017 10:46:25 PM
exactly knowing nothing about the band members, I always assume they're all 19 and they came of age 5-6 years ago and missed out on the chill wave wave
2/16/2017 11:39:46 PM
It's nothing new but I've enjoyed the few songs ive heard
2/17/2017 8:57:03 AM
new shins is a lot of fun.
3/15/2017 8:58:37 PM
Loess - Pocosin turned out to be seriously disappointing, despite being one of my all-time favorite electronic groups. Hopefully Clark's new release won't disappoint.

Anyone checked out Pitchfork's, "OK Computer at 20"? I have the poster of that album at my desk. I really like the visual representation of "Let Down". http://pitchfork.com/features/ok-computer-at-20/

Dante High - Parking Lot SoulFeaturing Ari Picker and other former members of Lost in the Trees. They had their first ever show at Nightlight on Friday night and it was a fun time. The other 2 songs on their EP are great too.

I saw Old Crow Medicine Show last week on their tour celebrating 50 years of Blonde on Blonde. I haven't listened to the album recordings but the live show was fantastic.
