I recommend this movie. Vince Vaughn plays a good drill sergeant.

probably the best movie i've seen this year. the action scenes were intense, definitely rivals the opening Saving Private Ryan d-day sequence.

this was much better than i expected, the accents weren't as bad as the preview

vince vaughn is good as the drill segeant but bad in the combat scenes

Yeah definitely recommend this one.

The fact they had interview footage with the actual main character in the credits made it resonate even more. No wonder Mel Gibson is getting a ton of buzz about directing this one.

i enjoyed it and the action was great but i never felt any real suspense or danger. the closest may have come near the end in the tunnels. it was a good film nonetheless.

I mean, I think knowing it's based on a real person and that he gave accounts of it killed most suspense for me in regards to his life.

It's like watching Titanic, you know the ship's going down but you can still enjoy watching it.

I can overlook a fake southern accent if the actor is really trying, and I felt like he was trying. And to be honest, after hearing the original person after whom this movie was made, any attempt at sounding more like the source material would have sounded like a caricature, because the real Desmond is somewhat difficult to understand.
