My wife's are. Her dad is engaged to what will be his 4th wife. Guy doesn't realize he is the common denominator in all the failed marriages.

As for my padres, they just celebrated 47 years last month.

^My brother had his fourth divorce at age 42 and is probably working on getting into another failed marriage.

Mine split when I was 1 so it's all I've ever known. My step brother and step sister are like my real siblings because they have been there as long as I remember.

[Edited on October 19, 2016 at 9:44 PM. Reason : ^ I think he means they split and are now having anniversaries with new spouses]

My parents have been married for 37 years.

This past weekend at my sister's wedding, my mom sat beside my dad's girlfriend of a number of years. You know, because those were the seating arrangements.

My parents were only married for a couple of weeks. My dad said he only did it so I wouldn't be "born a bastard". My mom will say my grandpa guilted him into it. Both of their sides of the story are full of holes and honestly I don't care. They've hated each other and have been extremely bitter for years. My mom is clearly not over it even though it's been 30 years and she's been remarried for 22 of those years. I can't even bring my dad up or she gets all butt hurt. They're both super immature about the whole thing and it really puts me in a shitty position around the holidays.

Not only are my parents divorced, my Dad told me when I was going to get married that my last name wasn't what is was, it was my mom's maiden name and I had been born out of wedlock (no biggie) so I got my name changed to my Dad's last name. Come to find out after he passed, that he wasn't my dad. My mom went out with someone before she met my dad and got pregnant and he didn't want anything to do with me. My dad married my mom when I was 2. He took it to the grave as he thought I wouldn't love him if I found out. My older brother told me after my dad passed. So, Dad isn't my dad, never met my real dad as he is dead too. Older half-brother is now not related to me at all and younger brother is only a half-brother now, and I now have two more half-brothers and a half-sister. My family tree sucks.

Sure is. Didn't find out about the real dad jerk guy until a couple of years ago ( I am 45 now) and found about a little more about my new siblings a month ago. Still haven't met them and they do not know about me at all. AWKWARD

My rents married 47 years but I fairly certain my older brother is actually a half brother. He don't look like my little brother and I but does look like my dad's friend
