I stopped watching it after about 20 minutes. I found surfing TWW and the web on my 12.9" ipad way more enjoyable.

Reminds me of Timecop (a short-lived TV series that was Monday Night Football's lead-in on ABC sometime in the '90s). The exact same premise except they added a black guy to tell us about racial issues in the 1930s and bring up Mike Tyson to some dumb cop.

It was a nice twist at the end. The problem is once you do that twist, why didn't it cause more real issues in the present timeline that would directly affect the guy that built the machine, all the people that work with him, the government itself, and the individuals actually going back in time. It's quite a plot hole. The people at the facility staying behind wouldn't even have an idea why the people got sent back.

This show is actually better than I anticipated, though I feel like the over-arching plot kinda falls by the wayside for the most part.

I fully expected the big change from this previous episode would be they would come back and James Bond would have been a female character based off the main character.

The past two episodes are good fun.

I do like how they focus on the less obvious people from stuff in history that are still important players but were not the headline grabbers. Kate Drummond, Robert Todd Lincoln, Judith Campbell, Ian Fleming, Wernher Von Braun. Lincoln one especially, it would've been so lazy to focus on them talking with Abraham Lincoln, Robert Todd Lincoln instead was a good touch. The Von Braun-Rufus conversation at the end of the last episode was really good.

The Rittenhouse stuff, I really don't care until they get out of dumb drama cliches.

There needs to be some change Flynn goes back in time to do that's not immediately obvious to the 3 key players, it's something on the side and they don't realize how much history has changed til they get back. The only thing their villain has been able to accomplish is successfully steal a nuclear weapon to power his time machine so they don't have to be discovered by plugging it into a wall.

Finally got caught up on this. Yeah, a fairly simplistic idea that has been done before but I like it. Only thing that really annoys me is that it is almost the same situation every time. Oh no Flynn went back to an important date to mess with something. We must stop him. Shenanigans ensue. Heroes make it back. History has changed slightly. Except for the one where they got stranded in 1754 (I really liked that one) and her sister no longer existing/gaining a fiance, they haven't swayed from it.

My question is why hasn't Flynn just told them why he is doing all of this? If it is important enough that Rufus' trusted friend and mentor betrayed him and has knowingly put his life in danger multiple times, it has to be something pretty earth-shattering.

Also, if something like allowing the Hindenburg to stay in tact resulted in such dramatic changes to the timeline, WHY IS THE HISTORIAN THE ONLY ONE who understands how crazy a thing like Lincoln surviving would alter EVERYTHING.

Rufus is their only pilot. Stupid, yes, and no way would any type of operation like that have only two pilots total (the older guy that Flynn kidnapped/betrayed them is the other pilot).

As far as Lucy -- she is a world class historian. Yes there are other historians but Rittenhouse has some kind of vested interest in her that we don't know the details of. Isn't the old Rittenhouse guy her bio father or something?

They did try to replace Wyatt with another Special Forces guy in one episode but Rufus and Lucy said they wouldn't do it with anyone else.

Mostly stupid reasoning all around but they at least explained it.

Also, I really fail to see how implicating the Russians in trying to essentially kill the Apollo 11 crew is only a minor change to history or why the Apollo 11 needed comms with Mission Control in the first place. It seemed like the communication was broken up after touchdown on the lunar surface, so why was it such a pressing concern?

the bonnie & clyde storyline seemed very minor compared to the other historical events. i'm guessing the only purpose was to advance the lucy/wyatt relationship (which everyone saw coming). still though it was fun.

Still enjoying this show. A little corny, but fun. Glad that Flynn is on the same side as them now, I like him as an anti-hero. Also, Lucy gets better looking with each episode.

I enjoy the show, but feel like there is no way this survives beyond this season.

So we are to believe that somehow Wyatt's girlfriend/fiancee/wife is alive after the seemingly minor altering of Hollywood history and Heddy Lamar renewing her patent. I mean its obvious this was added to add a love triangle plot to the show that feels forced and unnecessary.

I just figured that Rittenhouse was behind the death of Wyatt's wife for some reason and them messing around with all their sleeper agents in the past has done something to change that. It could be that any number of things they have done caused her to live, it's just that he just found out about it.

You'd think the jerk would have enough decency to leave a note or something though.

I actually think it would make sense for them to go back and stop her from dying.

Wyatt is only helping because he lost his wife, so if he has something to live for and something to protect, it's more likely that he'd stop going on these missions. Taking away their "fighter" would be really helpful, esp. if you're bleeding agents and trying to capture the other 2 members of the team. Wyatt is really the only expendable one and if you haven't been able to kill him, why not just remove him from the game?

This show is getting really, really bad viewer ratings. Can't tell if the show is just on at the wrong time or what, it's better than a lot of shows on TV right now but unless these ratings really change, I don't see anyway it hangs on for a 3rd season.
