The mobile game has been free through the app store(s) for a few seasons. It's playable but more from a card collecting game sense than an awesome football gameplay sense. Cause console controllers > mobile devices when it comes to Madden. But it's free, so.

The last Madden I bought was very playable.

That was like 2013 maybe. Well except for the fact that most of the features/game modes were unavailable to me because I don't have high speed internet access at home. So that was dumb.

I think it was between 07 - 08 when they actually made it so you couldn't see your wide receivers, and you couldn't fix the camera. GG

Nfl2k5 was so far ahead of its time. Basically anything that madden has come out with since then was in that game.

I was playing Madden '15, few seasons into my franchise when I drafted a LT rookie that ended up a 99 overall with 2 games left in the season. Season before I drafted a QB to sit behind my starter and he ended up a 95 overall in his 2nd season.

Now someone gifted me Madden '17 for Christmas. To start playing it or to keep rolling with '15 haha. Wondering if they fixed some of the franchise issues.

^I use to get excited about the exact same thing for NCAA.

Though I got NCAA every year, I only get Madden every 2-3 years and the last 2 I've gotten as Christmas gifts that I didn't ask for(hey he likes video games and football, so he'll love Madden!).

Playing Madden 21 free weekend on XBox, playing some 16 year old edgelord being toxic and screaming and throwing racial slurs every 5 seconds.

Ice him on a kick to go to overtime, I get a field goal in OT and then ice him again to miss the final play. Game disconnects, send him a message to have a good night.
