Amazon? I feel like they have a rental option...

Hi! I usually go to ncsu bookstore to see what book I actually need. Then I go to slugbooks.com to compare prices to see what books I could rent for cheap. Sometimes I even ask students at NCSU group on facebook about books too!

Go to the bookstore and get the book's author, title, and ISBN.Then check on http://www.addall.com The website will search several online book sellers and give you the price on all of them (they don't sell books). Most textbooks also have "International Editions" which are usually much cheaper, and some even have "Asian/Indian Editions", which are extremely cheap. For example, a hardcover math textbook that costs $150 on Amazon ($200 at bookstore) will have an Indian Edition that costs just $30.The International/Indian editions have the same material, but with small changes. For example, they might have an extra chapter, or one less chapter, but I have never had any problems using such editions. They have their ISBN, different from the US Edition, so also search on the site above using the book's name and/or author. In a lot of cases, the cheaper editions are found on http://www.abebooks.com and you will see that in the search results on AddAll. It is a good idea to search on both.As an example, here is a book I used last year. On Amazon it sells for $250, or $200 from Amazon Marketplace sellers (used for $100), but on abebooks, you can get it for less than $20!!!http://www.addall.com/New/compare.cgi?dispCurr=USD&id=105136&isbn=9780138132637
