Why not.Something has been bothering me since Civil War. After learning the existence of the other 5 winter soldiers, I can't help but wonder why they remained mothballed when Hydra was collapsing during The Winter Soldier movie.I mean they could have had 2 winter soldiers on each heli-carrier, and it only took one to almost kill Captain America.

they couldn't be controlled

MCU has a ton of plot holes and inconsistencies. The DareDevil Season 2 series was a complete fucking mess of characters and story lines coming in and out. They get a pass for it because there movies are entertaining.

So with this new Spiderman movie, he'll be going up against a human villain, right? Keaton as the Vulture. Sure, the Vulture might be formidable for Spiderman, but jeez, look at Peter Parker's friends. Why couldn't Iron Man just come and lay waste to the Vulture? I assume it has something to do with the Accords.

same reason superman never flies into gotham and catches all batman's bad guys in 15 minutes or so

Keaton as Bruce Wayne as Vulture

The preview actually has Stark saying let me/the avengers deal with vulture. So I'm sure he movie will explain why is has to be spider man.

Not an expert or fan by any means but loki looked good. Always thought he was a cool “not super bad but bad enough” character. It said series? So i guess he isn’t next bond if he is doing a streaming series?
12/11/2020 9:50:20 PM
I won't hold my breath about Fantastic 4. It's been tried so many times. But hey, if anybody can get it right, it's Marvel.
12/12/2020 10:20:42 AM
Yeah I’m not super excited about it, but I’m interested to see how they handle it. I am excited however that it probably means Doom will show up as a big bad of the MCU sooner rather than later
12/12/2020 10:24:13 AM
Ant-man is the best MCU movie. Everything with Captain America and iron man is the worst.

Anyone watching WandaVision?Through the first 3 episodes I just kept thinking to myself, "I'm sure there's going to be a great payoff to all this, but in the meantime I'm just watching a lot more crappy vintage TV than I'm interested in"Last two episodes have gotten much better, though I can't say all that time really needed to be spent down the rabbit hole
2/5/2021 11:59:39 AM
Yup been watching. I was definitely a little frustrated with the first 2-3 eps, I wanted to see a little more of the bigger mystery, but last 2 eps have been great/exactly what I want to see and made me appreciate the first 2 a lot more. The latest ep has some possibly huge implications...or they could just completely dismiss it given the situation they’ve set up
2/5/2021 9:07:45 PM
Yeah, I’m really hoping they did it to bring in that universe...it would be super disappointing if they brought him in only to have it not really matter
2/6/2021 7:45:25 AM
I just don't think Feige would do that to fans. I think this show is going to be a springboard for several future events. It's the kickoff for phase 4 basically. It'll lead directly to the next Doctor Strange movie, and set up what ^ is talking about.
2/8/2021 12:06:40 PM
Oh, and how about that trailer for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier? I'm stoked.
2/8/2021 12:55:52 PM
I'm wondering how Falcon will be able to adequately throw Cap's shield around. He's not superpowered at all, he's just a very strong regular human with advanced technology at his dispsoal. It would make sense for Winter Soldier to be able to throw it around since he is superpowered (despite him being relegated to just shooting guns in the last few movies) + his vibranium arm.Wandavision Spoilers:I was originally thinking "Why would Wanda bring Vision back to life, but not bring her own brother back to life?" and did some reading. In Infinity War, Banner mentioned that Vision's consciousness is pretty much just Jarvis brought to 'life' by the mind stone, and his AI consciousness may still exist somewhere in his body. So maybe she got Vision's remains and was able to tap into that consciousness somehow. Regarding Quicksilver however, there is no way they would introduce Evan Peters in that role/dressed exactly the same as in the X-men movies without the implication that it is bringing the X-men universe into the MCU.

But I thought Falcon was not the new Cap. Wasn't there a shot of the new Captain America walking down a field with people cheering? Or are we to assume that's Falcon, since they only showed the person's back?
2/11/2021 7:44:35 PM
There is a new captain America put forward by the government, that’s not Sam. But Sam was given Cap’s shield at the end of Endgame

I've never realized just how close TWW is to dead until seeing that WandaVision doesn't have its own thread.

So make one already
2/21/2021 3:06:42 PM
2/23/2021 2:34:30 PM
It would appear they are handwaving it away, at least for now...that's really annoying
2/26/2021 1:58:37 PM
Wow. I was really wrong on that thing with Quicksilver, lol. That's exactly what they did.Anyway, so now I'm wondering where Agatha Harkness was during the battle with Thanos in Avengers Endgame. We don't know her motivations yet and it appears like she is a villain, but at the end of the day if Thanos had won, she would have died as well as everyone she had ever cared about, so you'd think she would have been fighting against him too. She definitely appears to be on the same level of magic as the wizards that Doctor Strange hangs out with.
2/27/2021 1:35:30 AM
Maybe she was in, let’s just say, Nevada, and had no clue there was a fight going on
2/27/2021 8:40:31 AM
I like the Crossbones and Frank Grillo. Crossbones had an intense fight with the Wolf Warrior AKA Chinese Rambo in Africa and got killed.
2/27/2021 11:24:34 AM
^^I thought that initially but she had a line in yesterday’s episode where she could “sense” Wanda’s magical energy in Westview. Considering how many other sorcerers including both Dr. Strange and Wanda were in the battle, I don’t see how she wouldn’t have sensed that too. Wanda went toe to toe with Thanos straight up and destroyed half of his vibranium double sword thing so she was def outputting crazy amounts of power in that battle.[Edited on February 27, 2021 at 2:12 PM. I don’t think the Dr Strange and co. magic is the same as Wandas. Even if she was using a lot, its nothing in comparison to controlling the entire town, everyone and everything in it. Also we don’t know that she can teleport to a new location like Dr Strange
2/27/2021 2:20:04 PM
Scarlet Witch is literally the most powerful being.
3/2/2021 11:34:16 AM
I feel like they say that about every character. I thought captain Marvel was most powerful. Also seems hard to make Agnes not a villain after killing the dog
3/2/2021 11:41:04 AM
Yea definitely, you cant just kill a dog lol
3/2/2021 1:13:18 PM
I think it's the single most spiteful thing any Marvel villain has ever done?
3/2/2021 1:38:50 PM
For sure and then to make a banger of a song out of it too
3/2/2021 4:49:37 PM
Yeah I know, right? Thanos may have killed half of the dogs in existence, but it wasn't personal and he didn't actually directly kill them with his bare hands.
3/4/2021 10:39:14 AM
How were Thanos actions spiteful
3/4/2021 12:14:34 PM
They weren't, he wanted perfect balance
3/4/2021 9:30:50 PM
Alright.
3/6/2021 8:19:50 AM
Another thought -- why wouldn't SWORD or someone in the FBI just give a call over to the Avengers compound? They are pretty much the closest thing to a family that Wanda has left, so you'd think they'd care enough about her to come and try and talk to her. Hawkeye and her have been buddies since he gave her that pep talk in Age of Ultron. Admittedly, both Black Widow and Falcon & Winter Soldier were supposed to release before Wandavision, so maybe either of them will shed some light on where everyone else is during this show.
3/8/2021 4:31:03 PM
That dude is all into making that white vision, I don’t think he wants the avengers involved and stopping him
3/8/2021 8:14:40 PM
No, but Monica could have attempted to reach out to them. Not sure how one calls the toll free number for the Avengers.
3/9/2021 8:11:39 PM
^Or Woo. Or Darcy. All of them have either a direct connection to one of the Avengers or, through their respective government agencies, likely have some way of reaching them.
3/11/2021 10:27:22 AM
This has always been one of my biggest (but not big enough to stop watching) issues with the individual movies after the Avengers movie came out. You've got all of these serious events happening with each individual Avenger, but none of the others comes to help. Like Iron Man 3. Thor 2 in London...are you telling me that the Dark Elves and the Aether isn't a world-ending possibility? Oh well. It's a small gripe, but I think a valid one.
