What are you going to do with all your snuff films on vhs?
7/24/2016 12:46:53 PM
^I don't have a VCR, or tapes. My parents still have one though. They still play the Disney movies they have on VHS for my niece and nephew when they babysit.

Is this going to make my VCR collection appreciate in value?

Wasn't there a thread about how hipsters were getting into VHS? Might've been about a store on Hillsborough selling VHS to hipsters or something.

youre not supposed to rewind using the vcr. it wears it out.
7/24/2016 10:33:44 PM
We'll probably have to explain to kids why we call it "rewind" instead or "reverse" or something.
7/24/2016 10:36:18 PM
^We're about 1 generation away from people not knowing how to use a VCR, or CD player.
7/24/2016 11:50:42 PM
You say that as if old people haven't always had trouble knowing how to use a VCR or CD player
7/24/2016 11:54:05 PM
^Good point, but I was talking about people who are younger than those who grew up with VCRs and CDs.

So some kid with a BluRay player is going to be completely baffled when someone asks him how to play a CD?
