There was a security lady pacing the sidewalk when I got home. I've smiled and said hi to her already, so hopefully she doesn't shoot my ass later tonight.

Luckily, nothing too crazy happened tonight. There were some nefarious looking pre-teen girls playing in the fountain near Canal park. The security gaurd was walking towards the end of the block when I came back, so I missed her.
You never know what'll happen. Back when Trayvon Martin was murdered, a random white guy apologized to me when I was hanging out in Adams Morgan....it was ackward....he was very sincere.
