I recently upgraded to Spotify Family. They charge the same for 2 people as for 6 ($16 with tax). I'm looking to sell 3 slots at face value. You could paypal or bank draft the $ to me each month. I've seen people doing this on Slickdeals, but I'd prefer people who are local.

$2.67/month? Why not just ask for $32.04 up front and give them a year's subscription?
7/1/2016 9:56:24 PM
^cause he be nuts
7/1/2016 11:11:07 PM
I too would prefer a monthly payment. Wouldn't want to have to deal with the overhead every year for 3+ people.
7/2/2016 12:25:23 AM
^^^I can do yearly, but for the people that don't know me, I figured it would feel less risky. But you and synapse can vouch for me, right?
7/2/2016 2:22:30 PM
I'll definitely vouch...and you can easily set up a recurring monthly payment through PayPal or your bank.
7/2/2016 10:19:27 PM
yeah. that's true. I'll even vouch for you too ibnuts. Just thought a 1 time payment deal would be easier. I don't know. I don't pay for my music and very much enjoy the commercials. Well, at least half that previous statement was true...
7/3/2016 12:53:36 AM
^^&^ Thanks, guys. ^Then don't take advantage of one of the free trials. Wife said Pandora was enough until she tried the Play trial. After that, she couldn't live without it

Half of the free trials ask for credit card information. They don't cut off your trial when it ends. Instead, you have to pro-actively cancel it, otherwise, they roll you into the premium account and start the bill cycle. I free trialed it all the time until they started that game plan. When it comes to commercials, I've learned to [Edited on July 6, 2016 at 11:16 AM. Reason : .]

if i'm going to pay for music, i'm going to actually own it.(also i use amazon prime music)
7/6/2016 11:19:06 AM
^^^^They don't actually care, or if they do they have no way of knowing. That's lip service for the RIAA Mafia. On Premium, they allow you to use it with no restrictions internationally, whereas on free service you need to sign in from your home country every 2 weeks. I have family using it in Canada.^^I too did all the free trials, sometimes more than once when I was able. Except for Apple Music since by then I had gotten addicted to Spotify Running (plays songs whose tempo matches your running cadence). For me, $2.67 is worth it. $10 was worth it. But you know me. I'm not wasting money on gas or eating out as much as the average person. ^I went back to torrenting a while back but even with Headphones and access to what and waffles, it wasn't worth the time investment. Similarly, I have at least 10k tracks in my playlists, growing every day. At $1/song, I'd have to subscribe for 300 years before I save money by buying. There are a lot of things that make sense to own outright, but what amounts to a non-transferable license isn't one of them imho.Oh, and I too have Prime. Their video service is great, but their music offerings are a far cry from Spotify/Google/Apple (or Pandora, but not being able to pick your own songs sucks). [Edited on July 7, 2016 at 2:00 AM. I'll bite if I can jump in for a year and I have assurances that TWW stays up so we can stay in contact if things change with Spotify
7/7/2016 10:02:40 AM
I'd imagine you'll have other ways to contact other than TWW [Edited on July 7, 2016 at 10:09 AM. Reason : going out on a limb here ]]
7/7/2016 10:08:46 AM

7/18/2016 5:25:01 PM
How does this work with login? Would i still use my login
7/22/2016 2:33:31 PM
^Yep. I just send you an invite/link to sign up and then you're under my family plan. We can't see each others activity (unless we're FB friends and follow each other) and you can't see my payment info. I think if you already have premium they prorate your final month of single, but am not sure. I know they prorated my regular premium before I became the Family account holder.
7/25/2016 11:50:34 AM
I'm interested.
8/2/2016 1:12:42 AM
^Sent you a PM and replied to another PM. You guys are competing for last slot I may have another slot open within the next week. I set my mom up with 1 in May and she still hasn't used it, so I'm giving her a deadline to try it out or give it back.
8/2/2016 5:46:29 PM
All slots are now taken and I have 1 person waiting for the last one (almost said my mom's slot )[Edited on August 3, 2016 at 3:12 PM. Reason : ;]

Any slots open?
8/31/2016 4:00:40 PM
^No, sorry. 0EPII1 is waiting on a slot if my mom decides she doesn't use it. She's been on an extended vacation with no data access, so haven't been able to follow up with her.You may want to contact him about going in on one and then post here for other users. You'd already be at $7.50/mo between just the 2 of you. I don't mind you poaching

^ awesome!0EPII1Dynasty2004whitewilmboyThat brings us to $5pp/month.2 more people would be ideal, or at least one more ^^ Nah man, I am all about the Walkman... I would download the music, play it on my laptop and record on audio cassettes in my boombox, and then listen to the cassettes on my top of the line Sony Walkman . I might even upgrade to a Discman if we get 2 more people!!!
9/21/2016 2:35:35 PM
This is still available with anyone? There's two of us looking.
11/15/2017 8:05:21 PM
$32.04 annually is too much risk. I'm uncomfortable with $2.67/month. Can we do $0.62/wk instead?
