What reason is there to post? Trolls ran off 99% of the good users a long time ago and did a pretty good job of chasing away any new users that showed up. Now it seems like half the time I open a thread its just an argument between a handful of the same people.

This place is dying, no amount of posts are going to save it. At this point I've been coming to this site for so long I just want to be here when it finally shuts down.

Meh. Users grew up and got jobs and kids and quit posting. The site was unable to regenerate a user base of current students. Just funny how people come out of the woodwork when the site is in danger. Seriously I would sometimes wait an hour or 2 before 1 new post in chit chat a week ago.

This is true but I'm so burned out on social media now, its nice to shoot the shit here and not have to worry about pissing off your family, friends, coworkers by your posts like you can here. I don't post much and agree with Austin that its been on life support for a long time because of real life, social media drawing peoples attention, etc. Dunno if there is anyway to save it in the long run though without getting new people and having some of the assholes and old guard not run them off.
