I have it. It's fun so far. I haven't gotten too far into it but every faction plays very differently. If you get it by next tuesday you don't have to buy Chaos as DLC.

So far so good.I'm 41 turns into an Empire campaign, started to cobble together the Empire. The story and character development is fun, and the battles are fun so far. They dumbed down the campaign building part, even more than Attila. There are only like 5 building trees to climb. So overall strategic grand campaign stuff is simpler.Character progression and the battles add a lot of improvements and fun though, IMO.

^ I think they said they were going todo that in a lot of future releases. They want it to more be about the battles and conquest. Ill probably wait until Steam Summer Sale and get it. Theyve been good about putting all the TW games on sale lately.

Apparently this thing will rock your CPU pretty hard if you turn the settings up.

Eh I get better framerate with this than I did with Attila or Rome 2 even though those games are older. This is probably the most polished Total War game since Shogun 2.But those games will also rock your CPU. Total War games are more CPU intensive than most games, if you don't have a top CPU but do have a good GPU, you might want to turn down the unit size even while keeping the other graphics settings at ultra.

finally got this on sale.So im like 80 turns in on dwarf. I don't understand how you can maintain a large enough army and defend and progress at the same time. It's like you can't do shit without the other failing.
