^^^ Overall I think it's arguable whether kettle style chips are better than normal, but for salt and vinegar kettle chips are far superior.

Those cape cod chips are really good.

I considered qualifying that in my original post. Vinegar isn't the "dominant" flavor of vinegar-based BBQ, whereas it is in chips. Though in fairness I haven't had Salt & Vinegar chips in decades so maybe my taste buds would react differently. Still, vinegar by itself isn't good.

First off, u stupid.

Secondly, vinegar is still the dominant flavor in western NC BBQ.

I assume you mean vinegar is the dominant flavor in eastern BBQ. but it's not. we can argue about differing tastes, but I mean would you just straight up drink vinegar?

cape cod s&v can have a little too much flavoring on them, but the chips are superior

kettle brand s&v chips are a little thin and overcooked for the style, but the flavoring and amount are tip-top

Just as I haven't found a cheddar sharp enough for my taste, I haven't found a salt and vinegar chip with enough flavor.

Help me TWW. You're my only hope.

Cape Cod...although vinyl is correct...sometimes they can go a little overboard. Regardless..they're still the best.

Utz ftw

It's one of the things I miss most from the East Coast.

Does Utz, based out of Hannaford, PA, not distribute their products out west?

I'm a big UTZ fan. I like the salt and pepper flavor. Almost tastes like BBQ (eastern)
