Hey while we're at it is anyone trying to unload Hamilton tickets for a reasonable price?

I have 2 tickets I'd sell for $200 below face value (each).Floor B, Row 1 (front row at state) - $1,300/pair (face is $850/ticket).Sadly, I bought these with the intention of flipping them when they first went on sale, not knowing no one would want to buy them . Date tomorrow was my wife's due date - had baby last week, just to confirm I had no intention of ever going.[Edited on May 3, 2016 at 9:11 AM. Reason : ]

Thanks, but I'm not sure if I'd consider that cheap. I was more looking for like $50 a ticket for ones that are on ticketmaster for 90 each.

There's a ton of tickets for sale online and it's supposed to rain so I don't think this is an unreasonable request.

How much did you recoup Douche Bag?I've had a few misses in this market too

How is selling tickets below face value a douche bag move? The concert was great, even with the rain delay. I am sure JustinH would rather stay home and play with a bag of dicks.....you sound bitter bro

Didn't sell the tickets, so I went to the show. Was quite an experience and I was pleasantly surprised by the show that Beyoncé put on. I wouldn't have normally bought a ticket to her concert, but did enjoy myself in hindsight. It was only $850/ticket, so it wasn't that bad.

It's supply and demand. Most of the time, people are happy to pay what they perceive as fair market value for the tickets. I often get better offers than what I have agreed to sell them to someone on Craigslist for and I still honor the sale to whomever makes me a commitment. I took a gamble and in this case, it didn't pay off. Most of the time, I am able to buy 2 pairs of tickets and go to the concert for free by selling one pair. Sometimes, it even covers my beer/babysitter costs as well.I sleep quite comfortably at night. From your perspective, you should never buy stocks, for if they were to go up, you'd have to sell them to someone else for more or that is a dick move. If you buy a house, you should only break even, not come away with equity. Forget the macroeconomics involved, you should do "what is right".

His TWW prices are often lower than Stubhub, so in reality, it's often the opposite [Edited on May 5, 2016 at 12:48 PM. Reason : ^ lol]

Oh so he's a scalper it's just that his prices are more reasonable.I'd be more okay with the practice if there was a way to put a stamp on a ticket and make it non transferable if purchased within the first 48 hours. Allow people who are committed to going to purchase, then let the scalpers pick up what's left.

In reality it's really up to the bands and sometimes the venues to make that determination, and the way they normally do it is hold all tickets at will call, and you pick them up on the way into the show.[Edited on May 5, 2016 at 12:59 PM. Reason : V brb i need to consult with bone thugs on that]
5/5/2016 12:48:18 PM
The bands and venue are doing it for the love of music not money :^)

I don't know if I've ever agreed with a douche bag before, but I'm okay with his logic here today.
