Matt, not to hijack your thread, but as you know the company I'm talking about isn't Sony but they are a big threat to Sony's current interests in their area of expertise. The test results and end-user experiences with the Lexar UDMA cards have been widely varied due to the same problems that give big differences in the memory card tests. UDMA cards do not use standard controller designs so they are going to be quirky compared to their plain and pokey CF brethern. In the case of the Lexar cards, it was the controller design that caused many of the problems and it has been corrected on most if not all cameras and storage devices through firmware updates. The unfortunate truth of memory cards is that some designs work well with certain memory controllers and others do not.

i have one, its about 3 feet tall, 1 ft wide, 1 ft deep, white.. its a bit old and needs cleaning, but should be in good order. make an offer and come get it. see my garage sale thread for address..
