I have 4 2x6x8 boards I need to get to an even thickness. I don't want to do it by hand and was hoping someone had a bigger planer I could bring the wood to. Let me know what you would charge.

I guess you're looking for a stationary planer? I have an electric hand planer. It's a bitch to use, IMO.

Yeah exactly. I have four boards and have never done something like this. I figure I could get a hand planer and do it that way, but I was hoping someone had a stationary planer that I could run them through for some $.

What kind of wood? How much are you wanting to plane off? (Are they actually 2" thick (8/4) or 1.75"? What is final dimension?)
