Curb side pickup on craigslist?

^ Probably best.I only know of places that stop by to pick up clothing. You could definitely find somebody willing to stop by and pick up any serviceable piece of furniture on craigslist, though![Edited on December 25, 2015 at 10:38 PM. Reason : Just lock your doors and keep a loaded gun ready for the weirdos.]

Curbside isn't the best as we live in an apartment complex and we just want to get rid of a couch and recliner that aren't making the move with us to our new house.

Craigslists FreeEven the charities are a PITA to deal with now when you are giving them free stuff.

People will still pick it up from your apartment. Shoot, I offloaded a lot when I was moving (many of these items were given to wolf webbers; some to craigslist folks) and they were willing to show up and pay for my stuff. Just stick to a low price like $5-20 for most items and you'll at least have somebody visit that isn't necessarily a guaranteed psychopath.[Edited on December 26, 2015 at 12:03 AM. Reason : And yeah sometimes charities reject free shit because they have "too much of that item".]
