$427 That's a nice present for high school sweethearts.

It's too bad that those roller skate-shoe hybrid things didn't explode while being worn. These would be as annoying except you can plainly tell the person using it from a safe distance.

In Other News: Donald J Trump has purchased the words supply of recalled hover boards and donated them to Raqqa Syria for use by needy militants this holiday season.

Kind of crazy... I'm sure these things are going to be the hot item this Christmas. I've already seen a few kids with them riding around on the sidewalk in/around Capitol Hill and Chinatown. Weird to think these little things could be everywhere, and be a fire hazard if charged incorrectly.

I wanted to pick one of these up a few months back, but couldn't find a reputable dealer, or the company that "first" invented the product. Not surprised at all that devices people are buying on AliBaba from shoddy suppliers to resell at 2-3x the price are not well tested.

If your advertising plan is mentioning that the ones you sell are not the ones that catch on fire, maybe it's a bad investment.

While I've seen many videos of these things online, I've yet to see one IRL. That is a good thing.

IBT "back in my day we had to push ourselves along on roller skates / skateboards / scooters, etc.."

I want one of the mono wheel versions instead. Looks like it would be a bit more fun, as it would require better balance skillz and you'd look like a jetson's robot riding it around
