What's the deal with that ex-marine, or whatever he is that stands at the light on the left when you take exit 284 on I-40 W? He's always there when I have to travel to Ryder, or Penske. Does he just sit out there all day? Today he was waving what was left of the torn flags, had his face painted yellow, and screamed "OOH RAH!!!!!" at a car. What flags are those? He had all sorts of things sitting on his wheelchair seat.

Been seeing him out there for years. Never knew what to make of it, aside from the obvious.

I'm assuming he would like for you to give him some money as some sort of charity donation so he can buy goods.

^He doesn't have any sign begging for food. Maybe he is just a vet who has PTSS and was tossed to the street after being discharged from the military. He likes to kick his legs and show that he has had both amputated below the knees.

Yeah he doesn't solicit money. He's more into yelling at cars and being seen.

he would be proud to know that his existence spawned this thread

Maybe I can get a photo next time. It's quite the sight to see. I am still interested in what his flags say. It isn't a Rebel, America, or Marine flag.

holy shit he's still there?! Man when I interned back in 09/10 at Research Park he was there. Must be banking.

is it the guy that used to be at 54/55

^I have no clue, but it isn't that far from 54. He is a white male who is probably late 30s/early 40s with long hair. He has 2 artificial legs below his knees and a lot of stuff laying on his wheelchair.
