I want that 150 gallon tank I saw at Petsmart today, but I don't have room. Someday when I am rich I will get a much larger tank.

I don't think you'd find too many married dudes (or women for that matter) that don't want to bang other other people. It's never going to happen...but men/women don't magically turn into penguins once they say their nuptials.

But... I would settle for this since it costs significantly less than the watch:

things that do absolutely nothing for me:

1. watches
2. sports cars

so i can scratch those off my want-but-can't have list.

a private jet would be nice.

I would love this house. It's one of my favorites in Raleigh, and it's apparently for sale:

I've never gotten to see inside before so this is kinda a big deal.

It looks really modest from the road though! There are four gorgeous model houses on that road, and I love them.

Pretty good answer. Of course I'd "want" to be able to afford care and feeding as well. Those things burn more kerosene than a Michigan ghetto in the winter.

wait, I have a serious answer

anonymity, privacy, and the viable alternative to opt out of social media. I'm starting to feel like participation is almost mandatory. Choosing to not participate is futile, it will catch up with me eventually. Might as well reap the benefits now? I dunno. I still refuse to update any facebook stuff, but I figure I might as well. I'm just a drop in the ocean. Who gives a fuck?

[Edited on August 12, 2015 at 10:41 PM. Reason : since we're living in the future now it might be pretty stupid not to]

My point is that it will be social suicide to ignore it. The vast majority of our peers rely on it for communication, especially past the first or second degree.

maybe I just don't like social media in its current form

Rely on it? Maybe you run with a different circle of friends, but my facebook feed is full of political posts, baby pictures, comments about sports, etc. If I want to contact somebody I send them a text. You make it sound like you can't hold down a job or do anything without being glued to facebook.

Though TWW is technically social media, and it seems like the same thing. But I'm not gonna ask a buddy if he wants to grab lunch on facebook, for example.

If I had spare money, I would get a whole village in Spain

In Spain, Entire Villages Are Up For Sale — And They're Going Cheap

http://www.npr.org/sections/parallels/2015/08/23/433228503/in-spain-entire-villages-are-up-for-sale-and-theyre-going-cheap

Quite cheap actually, about $200k for a whole damn village! Sounds heavenly:

Quote :
"Down a track about a mile long, he arrives at the village of O Penso — which has "100 acres of land, a total of six houses, two barns and a big cattle barn that'll hold 70 cattle," he says.

The village, near Ortigueira, comes with free well water and a bakery with a stone hearth. Six miles away, green cliffs drop off onto white sand beaches — and some of Europe's best surfing.

The biggest of the village houses has hardwood floors and five bedrooms overlooking an orchard with peaches, figs, walnuts, apples and pears. At the bottom of the valley, there's a little river full of trout.

The asking price for the whole village: About $230,000 — negotiable. Smaller villages with less fertile land go for tens of thousands. Adkinson has one house for sale for $5,600."

There is one for free as well!!

Quote :
"o, desperate times call for desperate measures, says Avelino Luis de Francisco Martinez, the mayor of Cortegada, a rural town in southern Galicia. An abandoned hamlet that's part of his town isn't for sale. He's giving it away.

"For free! Someone just has to promise to renovate the 12 ruined houses," he says. "They're beautiful — bucolic! Next to a river and an 18th century royal procession path.""

this is probably accurate.

Does the 27 have thrust vectoring?

If i could have any 1 aircraft i'd have a hard time deciding between a B1 and a Beriev Be-200.

Do i want to land on water or go mach 1.25 with my $$$
