The new myspace blows now. They had it all nice after turning it into a free music website. Then they set it up so that it only played songs that have a youtube video to go with them and it is a lot of crappy live versions. A lot of songs have disappeared too. Now it is nothing but constant advertisements. I miss the classic version too.

I don't care....anyone that needs to keep adding himself back as my friend...deletion after deletion....is a loser

6/19/2015 4:35:49 PM
^He could add himself back?
6/19/2015 4:44:51 PM
Yes.Well, I think it must have been written into the code of myspace that Tom was to always be a friend.
6/19/2015 4:55:07 PM
Hey EMCE we were friends before!
6/19/2015 4:57:20 PM
Jesus, ron, how's it going man?I was thinking about you not too long ago, and didn't know of a good way to get in touch with you. How's it going man?
6/19/2015 5:01:58 PM
^^^I deleted him and he never came back. Did you delete your account and then start one up again under the same e-mail address? I'm guessing that would probably cause him to be back on your friends list.
6/19/2015 6:44:48 PM
Lol, tom didn't even want to be your friend.
6/19/2015 8:47:15 PM
No. I deleted him, and each time "he" re-added himself.
6/19/2015 9:25:37 PM
^^Yeah he did, but I deleted him.
6/19/2015 11:29:54 PM
I deleted Tom and he never once came back. I must not have as nice of a package as EMCE.

I forgot myspace existed until this. There was blackplanet before that
6/23/2015 9:38:37 AM
Says he has a networth of $60 million. That's kind of low considering he sold it for $500 million (he was co-founder with one other guy...so probably $250...take fees and taxes out...at the least, sitting around $150 mil). I mean...that's more money than I would ever need, but I'd either have more than that through investments, or be sitting pretty close to the original amount. He must have spent a shit-ton of money in the last 10 years.Oh...and apparently Justin Timberlake now owns Myspace. What the fuck is he trying to do with it?
6/23/2015 9:54:54 AM
you'd be foolish to assume he had more than ~25% of the company. most of that 580mil went to VCs
6/23/2015 11:41:19 AM
Meh...I wouldn't assume to know how much VCs contributed to the start of Myspace from Friendster employees back in 2002.

Hi, I'm tom.]

I dunno, I was hoping that myspace would do more to compete with SoundCloud. There are a bunch of things about SoundCloud that annoy me, and I was hoping that a rival competitor would make give rise to better innovation.
