I really want one for my beach trips this summer. I'll take any type, just don't want to pay full price for a new one. Thanks!

Aren't these like $5 at any Wings/Beach Mart out there?
6/8/2015 3:35:07 PM
I've heard they're like $5 at Wings.
6/8/2015 5:59:57 PM
Pretty muchOr $10. Same thing.
6/8/2015 11:40:08 PM
Any ideas on where I can get one in Raleigh? Would rather not have to go shopping at the beach this weekend.

They had a bunch at Homegoods in Crossroads the other day. I bet they're pretty cheap there.

If you buy a $10 boogie board from Wings you're gonna have a bad time.

I was in Michael's at Crossroads and right by the entrance they had them on sale for $5.

or you could go to Whalebone surfshop in north hills and get a board that will actually float you. they have their whalebone brand boards made by custom x for around $60 or you can drop a little more and get a true custom x. either one will allow you to ride triple the amount of waves some POS from wings etc will
6/11/2015 8:15:05 AM
^ float you? allow you to ride triple the waves?

Even as a kid I could tell the difference between the cheap shitty foam ones and a proper boogie board. Now as a fully grown man the shitty cheap ones just fold in half.

HOLY SHIT - WINGS SELLS CHEAP BOOGIE BOARDS - FUCKING FRONT PAGE NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!buncha trolling asshats
6/11/2015 11:03:32 AM
^^^yeah you know how you see adults take the boogie boards from wings into the waves and when they lay down on them the board sinks beneath the water and they flounder around not catching any waves? that's not enough float also the cheap ones are going to snap in half

When I was at the beach last summer the hotel I was at had some cheap ass boards available for our use. They worked fine for me...caught plenty of waves. Obviously the boards I used weren't kid/kickboard sized...and I'm 180lbs fwiw[Edited on June 11, 2015 at 2:40 PM. Reason : not even hard plastic on the bottom]

Worked "fine" and caught "plenty". At least admit (to yourself) that it was mediocre as shit instead of hiding it in your word choices. You can body surf too; it works fine and you catch plenty of waves, but it's a lot different than having a decent board (Only downside to a board is the belly rash. Don't forget the belly jelly)[Edited on June 11, 2015 at 4:30 PM. Reason : maybe i'm being a dick, but seriously try to get something better than a beach trash foam crap board]

I think this one is for sale: http://wwwcache.wral.com/asset/news/local/2015/06/11/14706298/14706298-1434055499-640x360.jpg

Maybe the cheap ass boards from your hotel were still better than the $10 boards at Wings.I stand by my statement that if you buy a $10 boogie board from Wings you're going to have a bad time.

bunch of boogie boarding champions in here, holy shit.that being said, grow up and learn to body surf like a real man

Mahalo you fuckin’ surfers. You goddamn nerds. Im just kidding, were all part of the tribe. How are the breaks lookin’? Some lefts? Some rights? Scream rooms? Ape rooms? [Edited on June 12, 2015 at 11:25 AM. Reason : l]

Back when I was a kid, the decent boogie boards at Wings started at around $30. $40 to $50 would get you a really nice board.Ain't no $10 board worth a damn.
6/29/2015 6:33:55 PM
I've seen some as low as $15 that have the hard plastic bottoms, but they usually start at $20-$25. Aren't those considered "decent?"[Edited on July 7, 2015 at 10:31 AM. Reason : this season]

if you dont know what you are doing there is no reason to sink alot of money into it. But if you want to at least try to do it right right you will need swimfinshttp://www.ebodyboarding.com/churchill-makapuu-swimfins-blue-yellow-8062.html
7/2/2015 11:38:45 AM
lol I don't think your average guy going to the beach for a weekend this summer needs swimfins to enjoy bodyboarding
