Good Stuff. It's kinda like the polar opposite of Scorpion. Meaning it doesn't completely suck ass at every opportunity.

So it's about a team of retards who work against the government?I will also take this moment to say that this totally deserves its own that way more than scorpion. [Edited on May 28, 2015 at 4:52 PM. Reason : that is not directed at the OP. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE.]

It's kind of hard to say exactly what it's going to be week to week based on the first episode, but the only reason I brought up Scorpion, is because there are similarities in that the main character is a very intelligent hacker-type with social imperfections that make him a little bit off putting to "normal" people or whatever, and yes, there is an element of him joining forces with other people like himself and doing good acts/bad acts for good reasons. But the computer stuff seems to be pretty realistic, and there's no Michael Bay-esque action sequences with hacking from a million dollar sports car while hooked to an ethernet cable coming out of a flying 747. It's kind of like Scorpion - stupid action sequences + realistic computer sequences + Fight club - fighting. If that makes any sense.

I enjoyed it.
5/28/2015 9:01:09 PM
sounds sorta like leverage
5/28/2015 10:01:50 PM
i really liked the first episode. in a show like this, it really bugs me when the technical dialog is sloppy. silicon valley does a good job. this show seems to do an ok job. although his use of AFK and IRL made me facepalm. and that linux conversation seemed silly.
6/11/2015 8:21:51 AM
At least hacking/password cracking isn't treated like magic.
6/11/2015 8:26:10 AM
bttt for the mod that can't be bothered to search.
6/26/2015 12:24:26 PM
I quit
7/8/2015 10:19:26 PM
Not bad, not good ... gonna give it a few more episodes to actually see if something actually developes
7/8/2015 10:30:02 PM
Seems kinda like a TV version of Watch Dogs.I kinda had low expectations thinking it's just your standard awkward hacker story, but they added more depth than that to keep me interested. I like it so far.
7/9/2015 1:08:10 AM
I don't like the turn with the E Corp executive... Punching a random homeless guy on the street, then he screws the gay secretary to get inside information on the CTO position, then goes home to a wife who is pregnant, and wants rough sex. A little too much.
7/9/2015 4:18:09 PM
so mr robot is a figment of elliot's imagination?
7/16/2015 2:30:24 PM
Maybe. I was pretty sure until this episode, the older black hacker directly talked to him (mr robot)
7/16/2015 5:55:28 PM
they're all imaginary. elliot is fsociety.
7/17/2015 8:05:31 AM
But the hacker girl directly talked to 'real' people
7/17/2015 8:09:16 AM
Yeah. fsociety is not all in his head. You made me think for a minute about Slayter. It is possible, but as others said, I think I remember interaction. But there have also been moments like when Elliot says "You've been quiet" as everyone was planning, and the response was "This is your show".
7/17/2015 9:53:23 AM
I am done with this show. I fell a couple of weeks behind, and was trying to catch up tonight but got about halfway through the next to last episode and realized that it just felt like a chore to sludge through this show every week. The two possibilities (Mr. Robot is real or Mr. Robot is Tyler Durden) both bore the shit out of me for different reasons, and I honestly can't make myself care enough to keep watching it to find out which way I'll be disappointed. I've always hated the "drug episodes" of most TV shows where you have to try and figure out what is real and what is all in their head, and unfortunately it looks like that's a crutch that this show is going to lean on every week. It's a shame, I really wanted to like this show and the first episode was one of my favorite pilots in quite some time but it just fell off so much after that for me.

8/1/2015 1:31:36 PM
I don't feel like what is/isn't in Elliot's head is really the focus of the show. I mean, it'll be interesting to know, but I'll still keep watching with either result.
8/1/2015 1:54:54 PM
I liked the most recent episodethe 3-4 before that not so much
8/1/2015 7:33:55 PM
Wow.
8/13/2015 6:15:16 PM
interesting twist. could go a lot of ways. unfortunately i got bored with this show and stopped paying attention a few episodes ago. now i feel like i need to go rewatch it all.
8/13/2015 10:01:56 PM
Does anybody have any thoughts on last night's episode? Tyrell gets fired. Elliot is Mr. Robot. Some whack scenes
8/20/2015 3:35:04 PM
Even though part of the twist was fairly obvious (Elliot being Mr. Robot) they did pull it off in a pretty good way. Loving the show so far
8/20/2015 8:57:54 PM
Played "Where is my Mind" over that last scene, direct Fight Club reference I assume
8/22/2015 7:50:34 PM
The twist with his sister was more interesting then that with his dad, only because that was pretty predictable early on. But now it makes all the scenes early on with his sister in his apartment make a lot more sense.Really interested in the finale now, not sure where they are going from here.

good review of the season finalehttp://grantland.com/hollywood-prospectus/domo-arigato-mr-robot-a-great-finale-for-the-show-of-the-summer/

this show is AWESOME! Season 2 starts Wednesday night!
7/11/2016 9:18:29 AM
I'm excited for tonight.
7/13/2016 11:42:47 AM
I thought it was a really strong premiere.
7/14/2016 9:25:24 AM
I loved the Phil Collins song
7/14/2016 9:55:57 PM
The apartments they find around Manhattan to film for the wealthy people on the show are sick. Makes me jealous to see these beautiful dwellings that people really live in. I especially like Tyrell's place from Season 1.
7/15/2016 12:16:35 PM
show needs more Stephanie Corneliussen
7/15/2016 2:14:47 PM
This is a good show. I too think the wealthy apartments are impressive.
7/15/2016 11:01:52 PM
They've dragged out this "where is Tyrell" shit way too long
7/17/2016 12:45:57 AM
Beautiful brownstones and beautiful ladies. This show had a good foundation from the start. The hacking stuff is OK. Sometimes Slater's lines make me cringe (although Slater seems really cool). The 1s and 0s binary shit has got to go. It's cliche at this point. Also rolled my eyes at daemons => demons. Still, this show is way better at portraying programming than Silicon Valley. The technical consultant sounds legit. But the strength of the show is capturing the zeitgeist of people who are conflicted by the growing disparity of wealth. Working for them or rebelling. Tyrell man.[Edited on July 17, 2016 at 1:56 AM. Reason : .]
7/17/2016 1:50:31 AM
This got so slooooooooowwwwwwwwww the first couple episodes of the second season.
7/22/2016 7:08:31 PM
loved the intro to this weeks episode with all the 80s and 90s sitcom clichés.
8/17/2016 11:43:03 AM
am i the only one who couldn't possibly care any less about angela?
8/18/2016 3:58:39 PM
Mind blown after last night. Didn't see that coming.W/r to Angela... She is our window inside of E Corp now that T is apparently dead.
8/18/2016 4:01:23 PM
(spoilers. obviously)So, maybe I'm dumb but I didn't really see that twist coming. Looking back it seems semi-obvious. However, I still can't figure out what is he in jail for? How does Ray figure in that scenario?
8/19/2016 9:01:45 AM
Ray is a prison guard or somethingprobably in jail for messing with his therapist
8/19/2016 1:39:02 PM
Did the guy who played Tyrell get a role on a new show? Seems really weird what they've done with that character this season.
8/20/2016 12:24:23 AM
According to IMDB, he has three projects in the works.http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0909412/?ref_=tt_cl_t4
8/21/2016 5:45:05 PM
***SPOILERS***The Rey thing seems like an obvious stretch to me. Even if it's a guard we are to then assume there was another IT guy in jail, the guard cared so much for a prison dog that he took care of it, Elliot could hack the FBI from there without traffic being monitored, a guard made life changing money from the site but remained a prison guard, etc...That is all and all a bit too much. The prision arc was a very good plot twist, but the whole Rey thing makes it seem as if it were a last-minute decision, especially when considering we have no reason for Elliot to be in jail.
