Hosea 3:3

New International Version
Let us acknowledge the LORD; let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, he will appear; he will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth.

King James Bible
Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.

Funny how different this passage is in two different versions of the bible. The bible's "word" surely isn't very reliable.

The Sherman Tank. The unsung hero of WWII. Although it was conceptually inferior to the latter Nazi tanks, it's ease of production, transportation, and reliability maintained that it was a great weapon for the allied forces.

Us troops who operated those tanks had to fortify them with scrap metal on the field because the armor was inadequate
