Does anyone else find this show addicting? A new season starts this Sunday at 8 pm et with "Washington DC." The previews I watched did a flyover of Mount Vernon.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aerial_Americahttp://www.smithsonianchannel.com/shows/aerial-america/701Spring Season 20154/26-Washington DC5/3-Wisconsin5/10-New Jersey5/17-Indiana5/24-Iowa5/31-MissouriTBAIllinoisUS Virgin IslandsPuerto RicoCalifornia Part 2The interesting part is the phrase "Aerial America" sort of leaves the door open for episodes about Canada, Central America, and South America once they run out of things to fly over in the USA.[Edited on April 20, 2015 at 9:14 PM. I have to say, the Washington DC episode was well done. They did fail to mention 9/11 and Arlington National Cemetery, but mentioned FedEx Field. Of course they could make a never ending list of topics to cover on these shows. Something will always be left out.

^I don't fish, but OMG I wanted to be those two guys in that beautiful green valley who were fly fishing on Aerial America "Montana."I will say they missed out on a pretty awesome story when they took the time to show the Duke Chapel and UNC Bell Tower, but Failed to show the NCSU Bell Tower and mention how it is unfinished in Aerial America "North Carolina."It's choppy, but here are some free full episodes for those of you who don't get Smithsonian Channel...The Dakotashttp://www.smithsonianchannel.com/videos/the-dakotas/33109Utahhttp://www.smithsonianchannel.com/videos/utah/35067Alaskahttp://www.smithsonianchannel.com/videos/alaskas-fire-and-ice/34060

I just watched Aerial America Iowa. They did pretty good covering the important things, but they missed out on some good stuff too. My Grandpa actually flew me over the land that the ethanol plant is on, during the ground breaking. It was pretty cool to see "Iowa 80" from the sky since we usually stop there to fill up with gas when we travel back home.Next weekend is the last episode of the season (Missouri).

Uncalled for by Aerial America in the Missouri episode on Sunday! They spent about 5 minutes talking about the police shooting and riots in Ferguson while flying over the damaged town and the funeral of Michael Brown.Anyway, starting on Friday at 2 pm (New Mexico) they are going to show episodes for every state in the lead up to the final episode (Illinois) on Sunday at 8 pm.
