I think this might be an original thread. Yeah. I've checked, and there aren't any threads like this. None. So let's totes talk about the new phenomenon of pollen and how it affects your white person.

Just went to that sketchy car wash beside bobby Murray to wash my truck (even though it said "no pick up trucks)YOLO
4/5/2015 10:08:44 PM
you gonna wash it every day for the next few weeks?
4/5/2015 10:10:55 PM
No I had to get that sticky pre-ejaculate off. The powder stuff blows off pretty well...

Never had allergies before this season. How long does this usually last y'all? Is it close to over?

Weirdest thing ever.I have had allergies all my adult life, with a runny nose and/or sneezing attacks at least daily, a few times serious enough to qualify as wheezing or minor asthma attacks, or to advance into nasal/sinus infections, no matter what country or city I have lived in.But for whatever reason, they completely disappeared starting last June after I loved to Louisiana. Is it Louisiana, or is it my system? TBD when I move from here in a couple of months.
4/6/2015 9:13:04 AM
@0EPII1 if you're like me, you probably have a tree allergy (oak) and there aren't much of those trees in LA.
4/6/2015 9:38:59 AM
4/6/2015 9:39:47 AM
there are a lot of oaks on the LSU campus (which is where I live and study since june)plus there are no oaks in the other countries I have lived inyour theory busted [Edited on April 6, 2015 at 9:43 AM. Reason : ]

Some fuckin' tree jizzed all over my car this weekend and when I find it, it's getting cut the fuck down.
4/6/2015 10:11:20 AM
I just started getting allergies a few years ago. They blow. This is the first year I'm going to give allergy medicine a try...as well as eating local honey. We'll see how it goes.
4/6/2015 10:21:12 AM
Heard the same thing about local honey.... does it work?[Edited on April 6, 2015 at 10:34 AM. Reason : ....]

^^^For the major OTC allergy meds, I'd rank them:1. Allegra2. Claritin3. Zyrtec
4/6/2015 8:18:28 PM
4/6/2015 8:28:57 PM
I wish Xyzal would be OTC already

Ive always had allergies, but when I moved from Baton Rouge to Raleigh they got way worse. Now Im back in Louisiana in New Orleans and I notice they arent nearly as bad.So to answer a prior question, pollen just isnt that bad here.
4/7/2015 12:43:56 AM
^ Interesting - agrees with my experience. When I was in Raleigh from 2000 to 2002 my allergies were horrible! Runny nose, itching eyes, all the damn time.
4/7/2015 1:01:36 AM
4/7/2015 1:49:47 AM
I feel sorry for all you allergy people...for like a second, and then I enjoy myself out on a patio with a cold beer.
4/7/2015 9:01:14 AM
4/7/2015 9:04:14 AM
^yeah. Is it over? Hah, it's just begun. I fucking hate this time of year. Another 4-5 weeks of this shit left I don't so much get all stuffed up from this anymore, but it's all about the eyes. Touch my eyes once and they'll itch for an hour. And regardless of that they feel scratchy all the time because pollen does not get along with my contact lenses.
4/7/2015 9:08:19 AM
^^My problem is that I can't take anything with a decongestant in it, or ibuprofen. I can take Tylenol based products, or Claritin (no D). Sounds like I am basically screwed.
4/7/2015 9:17:15 AM
Yea you should schedule an appointment with your doctor ASAP. The over the counter non-D stuff is crap imo.
4/7/2015 9:19:10 AM
4/7/2015 9:52:18 AM
I'll have to try this local honey nonsense.
4/7/2015 9:54:50 AM
^I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure it takes a while to work. Like, months.
4/7/2015 9:56:33 AM
this is, by far, the worst episode i've had with allergies...all that allergy medicine knocks me out....even the supposedly non-drowsy stuff...and since i can't just take a month off work to sleep it off i'm stuck suffering through this crap
4/7/2015 3:17:25 PM
4/7/2015 3:20:33 PM
^yeah i seem to recall reading in popular science that local honey is all placebo effect
4/7/2015 3:28:03 PM
^^ Woman is more vulnerable I guess.[Edited on April 7, 2015 at 3:28 PM. Reason : ^^^]
4/7/2015 3:28:41 PM
I thought everyone knew that one was bullshit.
4/7/2015 3:36:38 PM
so...it's honey not from somewhere else, right?
4/7/2015 3:40:24 PM
4/7/2015 3:40:48 PM
The outside world smelled of cum this morning...I audible said "Fucking, eww." to the trees and their hot nasty jizz.
4/7/2015 4:00:22 PM
That's true. It really smells like cum.
4/7/2015 4:14:16 PM
Tree jizz is on a 10 today. I could see jizz fog going down 40 at lunch.
4/8/2015 12:27:03 PM
Yeah, it's a claritin day today.Also,
4/8/2015 12:35:39 PM
My cheap OTC allergy medicine has been working great this week. I also like eating honey...so that's a plus as well.
4/8/2015 12:50:20 PM
My phone screen has been a pine forest for 2 days. I've sneezed twice, seems to be working.
4/8/2015 1:00:39 PM
4/8/2015 2:28:08 PM
I'll post a review in a week. I just did some quick searching and will pick up a bottle on the way home for a test.My idea is to take a hit Nasacort, wait 1 hour and snort a line of pollen.Repeat 1 day later with Flonase. [Edited on April 8, 2015 at 2:39 PM. Reason : ,]
4/8/2015 2:39:01 PM
i have severe seasonal allergies. like i couldn't mow a lawn or my eyes would swell shut. like i had to lie to the military to get commissioned. got on flonase a few years back. now i can spend 2 hours on the mower and not feel a thing. it's good stuff. i have zero copay for generics, so I still get a script for it, but the OTC is exactly the same.
