Great casting. Great acting. Great picture. I was kinda disappointed that MC Ren didn't get the shine he deserved. The guy who played Eazy E should get some award. Finally a film that made suge knight look awful. It slowed to a baby crawl at the end. There's a reason for it but still.

Still remember just about every word to every song on the album.

Throughly enjoyed it. Also enjoyed seeing a white couple in their 50's or 60's leave after the crenshaw mafia guy on the bus scene. What kind of movie did you expect?

haha there's not a single white person in that movie portrayed in any kind of positive way.

great movie though - much better than Get Rich or Die Trying, 8 Mile, Notorious (all decent movies), etc.

Other than the soundtrack, there was nothing redeeming about this movie. The revisionist history by Ice Cube was awful. They should have spent more time on Easy E's back story as a drug dealer, that was the only interesting part of the movie.

I sorta enjoyed this but kinda bored too. Felt sanitized to me. And that one part when they were in the studio recording their first song was done so much better in Hustle and Flow.

Yep, I was lesser known white southern kid in the group.

I mean, Ice Cube made it seem like Dre, Eazy-E, and he only had good intentions, but kept getting screwed over by the man. And I am not denying that they had a lot of barriers to overcome to be successful, but they could have been honest about their shortcomings and mistakes as well.

Watched "Dope" immediately afterwards. Also a good movie.
