haven't listened to them much, but when i've spun some of their records, i've enjoyed some of the ones i've never heard on the radio.... so i think there are more than 3 possible answers

As the biggest Steely Dan fan on TWW, I'm proud to put this discussion to rest

"Hey Nineteen" is probably the catchiest tune
"Black Cow" may have the best beat
"My Old School" is my favorite mainstream song
However, my favorite all-time song and a completely unheralded song, is "Dirty Work"

coincidentally, I'm also the biggest Michael McDonald fan on TWW, so any track that features his sweet, sweet voice is A-OK by me as well

I dunno but reelin in the years and do it again fit my pallet a lot better but it's just what i grew up on.

I don't care much for Dirty Work. Fagen > Palmer. I don't even really consider it a Steely Dan song.

Been on a Steely Dan kick lately.

Really digging Caves of Altamira, Kid Charlemagne(trying to learn the solo to this), Only a fool would say that, bad sneakers, Peg, Deacon Blues(the Steely Dan of Steely Dan songs), and Black Cow.

Any other gems I need to pull?

Don't Take Me Alive is the only Steely Dan song I like, which is weird because I believe Jeff Porcaro to be one of the greatest drummers.

Fun fact. I work with a guy named Danny Steele. True story!

Well, it may not be fun, but it's a fact!
