Anyone have this done recently?

Ball park price estimate on a per square foot basis? Considering getting oak floors refinished in my townhouse...2 flights of stairs and about 500 SF of flooring on the main floor that I'm considering doing.

How long did it take?

Were you happy with the job?

Who did the work?

Its probably going to be a pain in the ass. Lots of dust getting kicked up and you have to stay completely off the floors while the poly is drying.

Are you staying somewhere else during the time it would be done?

I would do it between tenants - I do t live in the town house any more.

My parents had it done last year, and had quotes of 2-3$/sq.ft.
