Naw in a single family detached home off Edwards Mill.

Even at its worst, the power outages would entertain off Kaplan.

kids would guarantee that I either

a) serve prison time
b) kill myself while out on bail before the trial that would give the prison time

I think kids take the boring out of life by requiring around the clock care.

I probably have a more varied range of interests then I did in previous decades of my life...however, I can definitely throw down harder then I ever did in college.

I have a wider range of interests as well. Definitely can't throw down like when I was in college....in fact, by body seems to reject too much liquor these days, crippling me with day long hangovers if I over do it.

But...that works, because I seem to find greater joy in simpler things in life now, like just hanging with friends, going out go eat, seeing a show, cooking out, etc...

I just haven't developed enough hobbies with my down time. My week days are fairly boring (gym, work, run (2-3 days a week), dinner (generally at home), TV/Internet, sleep, repeat). Wish I could find a basketball league to play in during the week, or some other weeknight obligations. Weekends vary between going to Raleigh for football/basketball games, my gf's home in western NC, keeping it low key in W-S. People aren't also as free/open to hang out like they used to be, though none of my friends really live in Winston and we haven't been great at making new friends here.

Went out after kickball last night; feeling terrible this morning. Stupid headache hangover.

Otherwise 30 has been awesome so far.

30s Life = Boring

unless i'm drunk, but that usually carries a whole rash of shit that makes boredom seem like a fucking wet dream.

Just turned 31 today. 30 had lots of boring time interspersed with really awesome/exciting parts. My 20s involved lots of moving and new environments, so that's why I'd label 30s as more 'boring'. More stable and more money though.

Been 30 for two days so I can't really comment , but the older I have gotten I have just noticed that I need to be more deliberate about going out and doing things. It gets 'easier' to just say you want to stay in and your friends can be the same way as well which means a lower chance of someone calling you up with something to do. Similar for work - more responsibilities means it is easier to forget to take vacations and take time off unless you are deliberate about it.

We'll see how my 30's pan out buy that's my initial observation over the last few years of my own 20s. The fun is still there, but I just need to be more deliberate about taking time for it it instead of it being as spontaneous as it used to be.

I'm not 30, but I would be much better off in the long run if there was more time every day, or if I stopped doing so much and spent more time getting a healthy amount of sleep. Lack of sleep will really lead to disinterest in a lot of things even the things you enjoy

I don't get enough sleep. Mainly because I hate going to bed. I always end up watching TV or reading TWW like an hour or two longer than I planned. Then morning comes and I'm like what was I thinking.

30s are great. You should be making good money now. If not, you probably had too much fun in your 20s. So much, that you have no career.

I went to Vegas in my 20s. Had to share a bed w/ another broke friend. We couldn't afford to gamble.

I went to Vegas in my 30s (twice). Had my own room, gambled all night... played golf.

30 - 33 is the sweet spot. I'm knocking on 40 and hope I can make it past 45.

I'll be 30 next month, but my late twenties have been a million times better than my early 20s. Early twenties were fucking scary: no money, no degree, no real direction or clue about what to do with my life, no options, no real sense of who I was, bouncing from place to place, school to school, and job to job. Once you get past that shit and figure things out more, life is so much better.

Do you travel? I've found that along with photography, it's a really easy and fun hobby that's not that difficult.

I'm about to turn 31, and life has only gotten better for the last few years. I used to be bored a lot, and now I get out and do stuff.

It's not that hard, you just have to take the first step:
