We will make picks for every NCSU regular season game as well as the NC State ACC Tournament games, any postseason NC State games and the NCAA Final Four and National Championship games, regardless if NCSU is playing in those games or not.

Picks must be made by 12:00am of gameday.

Prior to playing the game you must PM me a 4 digit (no letters) random number. This will be your secret code you use when posting your predictions. I will stop accepting PMs with secret codes after game 10. If you are playing in the Football Predict the Score you do not need to setup a new secret code

To simplify the tabulation process you MUST use the form linked below to post your predictions.

There will be no "cut line" this year since the posting and tabulation process is all automated using a google drive spreadsheet. You can begin playing whenever you want; however, you must always post your secret code in the form. No secret code no results.

There will be 25 points available per game. Scoring is as follows:

4 points for predicting the right winner
7 points for predicting the exact spread (6 points for being 1 off, 5 points for being 2 off, 4 point for being 3 off, etc...)
7 points for predicting the exact NCSU score (6 points for being 1 off, 5 points for being 2 off, 4 point for being 3 off, etc...)
7 points for predicting the exact opponent's score (6 points for being 1 off, 5 points for being 2 off, 4 point for being 3 off, etc...)

Example:
User123 predicts NCSU 67, TeamX 59, and the final score is NCSU 64, TeamX 62
4 points for winner + 1 point for spread + 4 points for NCSU score + 4 points for opponent score = 13 points.

Spread is an absolute value so even if you get the winner wrong you can still earn points on the spread.

you do not need to post your pick in here, but if you do i'm typically lenient about issues you may have had with the form positing. I've only loaded the first few games into the form. if enough people want to play then i will load in the rest of the games.

Seems like basketball would be a lot harder to predict than football...not necessarily in terms of the winner, or even the spread. But the actual score seems like it's much harder to guess.

FYI. I will be using Vegasinsider closing lines throughout the season for their picks on our games. they didn't do Jackson State or Jacksonville but did do Hofstra. If there is no over/under then Vegas isn't eligible for team score points but is eligible for winner and spread points (I will round half points to the even number).

Vegas has 11 points. We closed at 12 point favorites (nailing the spread).
