Reveal on Tuesday. For those not in the know, this will be the latest iteration of a Mercedes-AMG supercar after the SLS, which succeeded the SLR. I do wish they had chosen a less generic name!MB has said in the recent past that it will be the most beautiful MB ever, which is quite a lofty statement considering MB has built some seriously beautiful cars in its history. From all accounts and teasers, it will be a reincarnation of the 300SL Gullwing, design-wise.MB has definitely out-teased the hell out of it for the past few months, but I am still very excited about the reveal. All that's left to see is the shapes of the lights, rest has been more or less revealed in the teaser videos and pics, albeit, with camouflage paper covering the bodywork. Some links for those interested:PS4 stillshttp://www.worldcarfans.com/114090580762/mercedes-amg-gt-partially-revealed-in-driveclub-ps4-videoRidiculously beautiful interior, official picshttp://www.worldcarfans.com/114041673433/mercedes-benz-officially-previews-amg-gt-confirms-fallFlat out on the Bonneville salt flats, promo/teaser videohttp://www.worldcarfans.com/114090780853/mercedes-amg-gt-design-detailed-videoMost detailed picshttp://www.worldcarfans.com/114090380566/mercedes-amg-gt-s-to-hit-100-kmh-in-38-seconds-top-outNurburgring action shotshttp://www.worldcarfans.com/114032572303/2015-mercedes-amg-gt-returns-to-the-nurburgringTeaser high speed driving/cornering videoshttp://www.worldcarfans.com/114081579691/mercedes-amg-gt-to-offer-go-kart-like-handling-videohttp://www.worldcarfans.com/114082880323/mercedes-amg-gt-reveal-confirmed-for-september-9-videoSeries of funny teaser/promo videos http://www.mercedes-amg.com/webspecial/amggt/index_eng.php#media/innovation/video-before-we-deliver-innovation-eng/http://www.mercedes-amg.com/webspecial/amggt/index_eng.php#media/dynamics/video-before-we-deliver-dynamics-eng/http://www.mercedes-amg.com/webspecial/amggt/index_eng.php#media/performance/video-before-we-deliver-performance-eng/Engine and performance details:

Hehe, sure.First it's not really a successor to the SLS, as that car is on a whole different level than what this one is designed for. It's a smaller car with a smaller engine, so hopefully it will weigh less than the SLS did. Asking for it to weigh in similar to the Z06 and Viper isn't asking too much IMO.Interesting that it's design is heavily inspired by the 300SL because, unlike the SLS, this car will NOT have gullwing doors. I hope it's a beautiful car but given Mercedes' recent preference for cars with huge blunt noses I'm not going to hold my breath. This car's true competition are the upper level 911 variants, i.e. GT3, Turbo, etc. I didn't know the reveal was Tuesday, so that's something to look forward to I suppose. And yeah, the name sucks. Though, still a better name that LaFerrari, if you ask me

This one looks pretty amazing to me, all around. Looks to start at around $120k...ick. http://www.autoblog.com/2014/09/09/2016-mercedes-amg-gt-photos-official/

I like it. Maybe because it doesn't look like the current crop of Mercedes.

I think the latest S and C class sedans look fantastic. But the CLA, S class coupe, E class, CLS and especially the SL leave much to be desired [Edited on September 11, 2014 at 8:31 AM. Reason : k]

120k seems like great pricing. I'm hoping they get the price as low as possible to force down the GT4 price
