I want to go back to NCSU and walk around and stuff. Life after college sucks. Post photos and make me feel like I am back and flying saucer and just thinking about how I don't want to fail calculus

Looks like you need to go back to elementary school and learn how to form a sentence.

^^I agree. I just miss the fact that everyone lived within close proximity to me, and that everyone had TIME to do fun things. I also miss my metabolism and the ease of meeting new people / women.

^^grad school feels nothing like college. most of the people there have full time jobs or are married. you'd have to go back and creep around and make friends with undergrads or something, but you're obviously too old to be in undergrad.

I feel like college now wouldn't even be the same as we remember it. They didn't even have Facebook until my last year of college. People were just starting to get cell phones and nobody sent text messages. AIM was the big social thing at the time. During my freshman year, I would often leave my cell phone back in my dorm room just because I didn't want to be tethered.

I didn't have a cell phone and Zephyr was the big new thing (which was basically AIM for unity, you could instant message people in other computer labs across campus!). And the internet was slow as hell.

^^I remember zephyrs! I used them in my E115 class to send messages to my friend from high school who was in the same class/time but a different section.

^I actually played Medal of Honor: Allied Assault a ton over resnet.

That's what I am doing now... lot's of fun!

Do it.

(I am in a cohort program, not possible to "act like an undergrad" much in a traditional Master's program)

I am going back to college, sort of. I am a little over 10 yrs out of college and have to retake quite a bit of science classes for PA school. Sigh...I came to terms with it, but I think it'll be worth it.

I'm a bit younger than most here...23. I got a Blackberry during either my freshman or sophomore year in college. By my senior year I was sitting in class playing on my phone the whole time instead of taking notes. My freshman year my phone was just a standard flip phone...I barely texted anybody. It's crazy to think how much it changed me and my lifestyle all while I was in college.

I only ever want to go back to college for a few reasons:

1) everything is a head of you. you have all the time and energy you need to make your life anything you want.

2) no responsibility. let's face it, even if you have classes + job, your responsibility is far less in undergrad. that shit is money.

3) the women. the percentage of women i see at work is far less than those in and around campus.

Actually, i probably miss 21 - 24 more. Because it was the same as the above but with money.

Outside of that I enjoy my life and who I am now far more than who I was then. I've had a great life since undergrad that has taught me a good many things. If anything, my real want is to be in undergrad again as the person I am now.

I had way more fun in grad school than college- mostly because I knew what I was doing, I knew the people in my program, my schedule of mid day classes that only met once a week was awesome, and I wasn't entirely broke.

Working at a university now and dealing with college kids makes me really glad I'm no longer a student.

I miss those days of Halo on resnet as well, I felt like I got my nerd on quite well during that time. One of the few things that brought everyone (10?) in our Tri-Tower suite together the first few years.

I am currently going back to college.
That is if NCSU will let me.

they say I need to pay them money, but they already turned my ass over to collections a looong time ago.

Fuck if I'm paying both of them

Bottom floor of Owen in '98. There was a guy named Big Mike on our hall that would always have movie nights, and we'd cram like 25 people into his room to watch movies. Fun times. Really great year, but I know if i went back, it just wouldn't be the same.

I probably miss the first couple years of college the most. Living on campus and being within walking distance of my friend's dorms, the gym, food, class, and places to go for fraternity/house parties was awesome. Moving out towards Trailwood for my last 3 semesters was one of the bigger mistakes I think I made in college - should've gotten a house somewhere near Hillsborough.

Dang, we'd have the whole hall playing Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds (basically the same game). People running up and down the hall after they were dead in order to spy on the other team. Too much fun.

were I still in college...I would be at the Western Blvd. Taco Bell right now getting three chalupas...at this exact moment

I also recall driving all night from Florida to Raleigh and then getting out of my car and going right to Badminton class after being up for 26 hours straight
