I work with a bunch of relgious, conservative Indian guys, and they were all raving over this guy. Not surprised to hear that he is antimuslim[Edited on May 20, 2014 at 4:11 AM. Reason : g]

Doesn't seem odd to me

^^Should we be concerned about India's relationship with Pakistan if their president is a far right anti-muslim candidate?

India was both the top tea producer and consumer for over a century, but has recently been overtaken by China.

^^^ can you explain...?I realize the average Indian is very poor and uneducated, is this just a case of this guy appealing to these poor hindus with the subtext of anti-muslim sentiment? The hindus I know have never been dogmatic or against others' religions, but these are all hindus living in America, and they're the ones that would be persecuted. Or does this guy legitimately have other qualifications that make him a viable leader? I'd think him not being able to get a visa to visit the US would be a major strike against him in the voters' eyes. Purely based on reading 2 or 3 articles about this guy, he seems a little nutty in a Putin-esque way.
