I enjoyed it. It was a little slow for a premiere, but they were setting up quite a bit.

Tim Dalton is always fun to watch, and I've like Hartnett since Lucky Number Slevin

Interesting enough so far. Nothing great, nothing upsettingly bad either. I like the literary characters they've chosen, hopefully they won't fuck them up. I'll watch at least 2 or 3 more shows to give them a chance to start tying things together.

I must say, I'm a bit surprised with how one (potentially to be) main character was quickly dispatched last night.

Also, why the fuck doesn't Frankenstein kill his monster? Just fucking shoot him in the head, or cut off his head. Or just turn him into the cops for being a killer. Not like the cops would believe any story the monster would tell them about how Frankenstein "built" him.

I'm with you. I watched the first 3 and just couldn't get into it. The acting is fine, I guess, but it's kinda boring and gives off a bit of this "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" vibe

I'm still watching, but unless something exceptional happens on the finale, I'm probably done with this show. I want to like it, but I find it really boring, even the action scenes like the boat last week seem boring to me.

I'll at least finish the season. I find myself only watching them on-demand because its not good enough for me to make sure I watch live or dvr it. I wouldn't be surprised if I forget about it if it gets a second season.

I have been impressed with Josh Hartnett's acting. At first I was disappointed he was in it, but now I'm intrigued by his character. I look forward to them going into his past.

Eva Green has done pretty well at being creepy as fuck.

They need to move along with the frankenstein story. I mean the monster is supposed to be pushing him to create a bride but is content to stand outside occasionally while frankenstein is holed up in the house watching over Vanessa for a month?

I've got the last 4 episodes sitting on my DVR. Wondering if I should even finish it. It seems like too slow of a show to hold my attention I think. The possession/exorcism scene a while back was fantastic though I thought.

For what it's worth I liked it. Interesting to see what will happen with season two. Personally, I saw the thing with Billie Piper coming from the get-go.

All in all I'm most interested to see what Hartnett's deal is.

Watched the first episode of Season 1 the other night and I'm intrigued. I've always enjoyed the vampire/werewolf/frankenstein areas of "sci-fi"..so obviously this appeals to me. And it doesn't matter what role Eva Green is playing...she's still smoking hot.

How is this show?

^^I'd say watch it. I think you'll enjoy it. Plus the wrapped it all up in 3 seasons (there will be no more). So shouldn't take you "that" long to watch it all.

this is one of those shows that has been on our Netflix queue for so long that we're finally binge watching it just to get it off of there. It's somewhat entertaining, but kind of slow. Thankfully only 3 seasons.
