I realize this thread is about apple ale, which I do not have, but hear me out... Or whateverBought a sixer of the strawberry ale for the gf, I wouldn't drink it but she thought it was ok. Tasted kinda smirnoff-y. Not horrible I guess

^ obviously a parody thread

It is not good. Way way too sweet. And I really don't mind sweet alcoholic drinks. But this is way too sugary.

most all of the Bud/Miller/Coors produced ciders are going to be nothing but sugar loaded drinks. If you want a real cider try something like Samuel Smith Organic Apple Cider or even Magners. There are also a lot of craft ciders these days that offer a much better experience than Redd's, Angry Orchard, or even Crispin.

It's not a cider

It's a fruity beer.

Yep ^. Which makes it even worse. I like a cider...even the cheap ones aren't awful. But Redds is shit

It's like a more watery version of Angry Orchard. It's okay, it's cheaper, and I am more likely to drink it if someone else buys it.

Its basically an ale with apple juice addedI used to give out samples of it, I felt guilty everytime I convinced some shmuck to buy a six pack
