Please please enable HTTPS for TWW. I hate plaintext browsing on sites requiring login info. Even if it's a self-signed certificate for a little while.

Do you think people *really* want access to the Kingdom that is your tdub account?
3/24/2014 11:10:22 PM
Think of all the havoc one could wreak with unfettered access to an account of such prestige as mine.
3/24/2014 11:43:56 PM
FOH mane.
3/24/2014 11:59:19 PM
but imagine if it were like Noen or EMCE and another TDubber were sitting at the same Starbucks or somewhere else with public unencrypted Wi-Fi and their cookies got sniffedI mean they have mod powers
3/25/2014 4:42:31 AM
I'm just going to bump this so someone sees it again. 'Cause I want HTTPS.
11/12/2014 6:05:33 PM
brb...lemme fire up my packet sniffer.
11/13/2014 12:16:57 AM
yeah, but then we would need an image proxy running to host all the images tww links to for weeks for caching. FUN TIMES.
11/14/2014 12:38:08 AM
If it's hosted on TWW, it can be served normally via https. Most of the image hosting sites that are used all support https, so auto-converting the link to https wouldn't be so bad. For all others, proxy - and yes, that sucks. Or just send mixed content. Browsers complain, but whatever.

I also strongly support this request. There is no need for the various firewalls and inspection devices our traffic goes through to know the content of what we are doing on this site.[Edited on January 15, 2015 at 4:39 PM. Reason : .]

I remember the Site 3 betait was old when I saw it, and that was back when Opera was even minimally relevantnow we all just need to make sure it doesn't break in Pale Moon because that Firefox fork is made of lol and fail

I guess if https is finally good enough for stackoverflow, it's good enough for tdub then. please enjoy.
