Swing by my store Monday, I can sell you a Core 2 Duo 2.8ghz tower with decent HD and ram for $70-80. Have some quad-core machines too for a bit more . . . . I must have 50 or so desktops total to choose from, you can get your pick.

Although if pressed for time, Newegg Dell Latitude/Optiplex refurbs aren't bad either. Those Dell Outlet coupons only show up so often.Lately though, for laptops, I've been fond of buying $80-$100 Latitude E4300's off ebay and adding an SSD. They fly. I'd imagine you could do something similar for Optiplexes too.Locally speaking I'm sure fregac has some good deals. I've bought all kinds of stuff from him over the years and I've never been disappointed.]
