got some Yokohama Avid Touring-s tires on my girlfriends car.For a commuter they seem pretty nice, and they are doing great as far as traction and wear. They were about 20 dollars more than a set of black and rounds.

half-tread used 225/45/17 continentals at $35 a piece mountedone leaks a bit... have to fill it up every week, but I ran over something I think. Pretty sure they were good when I got them

So no suggestion on dirt cheap tires. See the issue is I have a lead foot, and like to slide tires etc. Doing that on expensive tires makes me feel stupid, so suggest some dirt cheap ditch finders that work ok in rain.

this is for the drive axles on your 1987 International S1600 dump truck? What about retreads?

These are for my G8's second set of wheels. I'm leaning towards bfgoodrich g-Force Sport COMP-2, but onlinetires has kinforest shipped for 380. 500 less than bfgoodrich's. Why am I attempting to be cheap.

Hankook. 'Nuff said.

Have a set of them now, wet traction leaves something to be desired. I'll just buy some real tires

Trying to find the cheapest option to replace all of my tires on my 2003 4Runner.I strictly use my car for transportation. It's no 4WD, no offroading...nothign. So not looking for anything special...just the cheapest deal. Looking to order off of Tire Rack and have them shipped to a local shop that will put them on for me. I'm not walking into a death trap by paying $106/ea am I??I've only replaced one tire at a time...and this is my first SUV...so just making sure I don't do anything wrong here.

That's a steal for that modeljust don't forget that you get what you pay for with tires - I've never gotten more than 20k from a 'cheap' brand.

I have Nexxen Roadian HT tires on my 2000 4Runner which are around the same price range. I'm happy with the overall performance of the tire and they seem to have very reasonable wear at the ~21k mark. Most people were getting 55k-70k out of them iirc which isn't bad at all for a LT tire. Here are some reviews if you want to read through them:http://www.tirebuyer.com/tires/nexen/roadian-ht-suv/p/style/36244[Edited on July 29, 2014 at 4:32 PM. Reason : l]

I'll have to look at how many miles I've put on them, but I've been pleased with Sumitomo HTRs.
