You're drunkStopped by to check out the new Tahoe today. I really like the interior. The exterior will grow on me.$68k for Ltz. Y'all are out of your mind.
2/26/2014 4:19:58 PM
yup.
2/26/2014 4:30:45 PM
I thought this was gonna be about airbags
2/26/2014 6:01:21 PM
Sir Walter has an LTZ for $57.5k. $68k seems like an outlier. How much were you expecting it to be?What are some vehicles in the same class that are significantly cheaper? Seems like most vehicles in that class are are priced similarly.]
2/26/2014 6:16:14 PM
You think that's a lot? Check out a Land Rover dealer.
2/26/2014 6:54:48 PM
^^ Is it a NBS Tahoe? ^ exactly. Chevrolet is not land roverJust looked at sir Walter. Their 13s and 14s range up to 68k they have a 15 as high as $70.5k[Edited on February 26, 2014 at 7:16 PM. Reason : Dang ]
2/26/2014 7:01:36 PM
LOL, I have a G8 GT, I went and looked at the SS. Same effect. No way in hell I'd pay 48k for a V8 Malibu.
2/26/2014 7:39:52 PM
You mean a re badged g8 shit has nothing in common with a Malibu but the nose.
2/26/2014 8:38:53 PM
While I understand that nice new vehicles cost money, and larger, fancier vehicles cost more money, anyone who would pay $70K for a Chevrolet that isn't a 'Vette should be taken out back and shot, or at the very least sterilized to keep their sad, misguided genes from spreading.
2/26/2014 11:46:38 PM
^ +1
2/26/2014 11:50:24 PM
Yes I would prefer to wait 2-3 years and get it for half that price. It would be one thing if Tahoe interiors felt like a Lexus or something but they feel similar to the Cruz.
2/27/2014 5:46:03 AM
The SS is more of a rebadged G8. The exterior is all Malibu/impala, I honestly couldn't tell which was which until I look at the rear and saw the SS badge. I wouldn't drop 70k on a vette, the price will be 40k or less in 2 years, just wait on it.BTW once I finish my move I'll be getting my bump stick, then I'm off to wreck a galaxie
2/27/2014 7:10:50 AM
Bill's going to have to get in line, there's an ugly black truck sitting on 255's - waiting to show you it's tailgate.[Edited on February 27, 2014 at 7:43 AM. Reason : -]

^^^I've always said Chevy's most consistent trait is their signature rental car interior.
2/27/2014 11:44:18 AM
Worst car I've ever driven was a Chevy. Rented Chevy HHR... worst driving car, by FAR the worst interior of any car I've been in, and it was ergonomically horrible.
2/27/2014 3:38:51 PM
2/27/2014 4:13:19 PM
New Escalade starts at $80k I believe.
2/27/2014 4:47:17 PM
The silverado(for the most part) interiors are nice. But that is a ridiculous price for that...hell, 30k is a lot for a new SUV IMO
2/27/2014 5:08:15 PM
2/27/2014 5:30:30 PM
What full size SUV can you not spec a sticker price into the $60k range?
2/27/2014 7:54:11 PM
Kia.
2/27/2014 8:00:51 PM
^ there's a reason for that...
2/27/2014 8:08:47 PM
In all seriousness why would you ever consider buying a SUV? Either you need a truck (go buy a truck) or you need a van (go buy a van).
2/27/2014 9:29:25 PM
What if you need something like a van but with truck capabilities? I think an SUV would be a good solution. What do you think?
2/27/2014 9:31:56 PM
Not in my opinion, if I need something with truck/van capabilities, I'd buy a extended cab pickup. I personally hate SUV's.
2/27/2014 9:55:59 PM
I HATE IT THERE FOR YOU MUST TOO. RAWR RAWR RAWR RAWR
2/27/2014 9:58:35 PM
Why are you trolling? You and anyone else can go buy a SUV, but unless you got a family of 10, theres no real reason to own one, imo. Extended Cap truck is the best of both worlds.
2/27/2014 10:03:12 PM
2/27/2014 10:57:43 PM
A little higher, but $70k is still quite far from the average....That's probably something with most/all of the options, including some $4000 wheels or something too.http://www.truecar.com/prices-new/chevrolet/tahoe-pricing/2015/11F50CC8/That doesn't show anyone paying over $63.5k for one, with ~$60k being the average for a 4WD LTZ, and $43.5k being the average price paid for a 2WD LT.What 4X4 full size high-trimmed SUV is significantly cheaper, outside of the POS Kias?]
2/27/2014 11:16:26 PM
who buys these besides drug dealers
2/28/2014 12:23:35 AM
seeing as he's ignoring my call-out. I'll give a retort on the SUV thing:- SUV's are typically shorter wheelbase than trucks. This helps in many situations- a truck as short as an SUV either has no extra interior space (reg cab) or no usable bed space- SUV suspension is typically softer than truck suspension- my truck's going to spank that G8.
