This was an incredibly entertaining movie. I very much enjoyed it and hope they do another one.

Edit: Just read there is a sequel planned for 2017

I talked to a friend this weekend who reluctantly took his kid to it, and said it turned out to be awesome. But he played with legos as a kid. And he also used movie-enhancer.

I am absolutely, positively going to buy the SPACESHIP(!!!) set when it comes out this summer. Some of my favorite childhood memories are of playing with those early 80's space-themed Legos.

I say this as a former Lego kid, but I don't think you ever had to be into legos to enjoy this movie. There's so many cultural references made through the lego pieces that you'll be entertained no matter what. Also, what a cast!

Morgan Freeman
Liam Neeson
Elizabeth Banks
Will Arnett
Nick Offerman
Charlie Day
Will Farrell
Jonah Hill
Channing Tatum
Cobie Smulders
etc
etc
etc

Just saw it. I expected a lot from it given the reviews. It still blew me away.

So good, so hilarious!

liked it. Batman had me cracking up. Billy Dee Williams was actually the voice of Lando. Hilarious

for whatever reason i kept thinking it was all stop motion

Had a Lego day today. Went to the LegoFest at the Raleigh Convention Center with my wife and kid, then went to see the movie after.

Best part of the day was randomly deciding to buy some series 10 minifigs because they were on sale for 1.50 and pulling Mr. Gold. Who apparently ebays for 500$+. Nice.

At one point they were selling for 1k. I think I should be able to get at least 500.

Just saw this last night. It was pure joy seeing the space man with the cracked chin guard and scratched up logo on his shirt. I mean they could not have gotten a more accurate representation of what he looked like after being mixed up in a box of legos for years.

I have not heard good things about the sequel so far, which is a shame because of just how much I loved the first one.

The first one is fantastic.

I saw the second one, and it's still good IMO. Just hard to live up to the first.
