I'm shopping around for a new set of tires, and I'm curious if you folks know of anywhere decent. I used to know a few mechanics that flipped them in the past, but that was a while ago when I bought my last set. Thanks for any help.

I just use discount tire. If they don't already have the best price, they will match it, or discount other parts to make it come out the same.

+1 for Discount as well. Their (tire) lifetime free balance is a godsend for picky people.

Concur with discount, price matched to tire rack if that helps.

Another for discount tire. And they actually use a torque wrench on the lug nuts unlike almost every other shop who will use an impact gun. You also get lifetime rotating and balancing. Makes a huge difference to have your tires balanced when you rotate them. Discount does it for free. And if you get a nail in the tire they will plug it for free also. can't beat 'em!-[Edited on February 22, 2014 at 9:54 PM. Reason : -]

wow. Wish I had checked discount tire before i did my two front tires a couple years ago. I spent 300 bucks just to replace my front two tires. I could have replaced all four for that price(maybe cheaper) at discount tire. F me
