Wes Moore is looking like an amazing hire at this point. This is a guy that took UT-Chatanooga to the dance year in and year out and even beat the UT women's team once.

Heard him on the radio and read a couple articles about Moore and this is easily You's best hire so far. Hope they can make some noise in the tournament. Maybe Moore can coach the men's team to play some defense.

I've never seen such a dramatic turnaround in a first season (at least so far) with a new coach working with essentially the same talent as the previous coach.

Moore apparently received head coaching offers at bigger schools every year while at UT-Chatanooga, but turned them down because he liked the university. But when State came calling with it's ACC pedigree and his ties to Kay Yow, that was finally enough to make him jump. GG to Yow on this.

Also dude's picture in the Wes Moore thread is awful. He's not nearly as cartoonish in real life.

Another thing: I think it's at the under-8 media timeout in the 1st half, but they have a "Dance with the Pack" where little kids go out on the court and dance with the cheerleaders and dance team.

Yep. Wake was coming off a big victory over Florida State and we looked a little sluggish having been off a week since Maryland. We made some mistakes that I hadn't seen us make since UNC, but the good thing was we didn't let it jar us. Kody bounced back from a bad 1st half and showed Senior leadership, especially the rebound and 2 FT to seal the win.

Haha, yeah.

The women are on the road for their next 2 games vs Virginia Tech and Clemson, then it's Hoops 4 Hope vs UNC. I do expect it to sell out with the season we're having and the fact that it's against UNC, regardless of their current 3 game losing streak.
